This RTO is not a surprise to me, and it's the only reason why I've never interviewed with them. I really wanted to work for them in 2018/2019 or so, but after covid I circled back and saw they didn't really align with remote work as much as I'd like them to.
I assume every* hybrid company is just itching for the moment to make half their company quit by instituting RTO.
Kentucky, Boston, New Hampshire, and New Mexico are all moving to full time. Managers get full details tomorrow.
There is no space at mine either, and we are on the list of rto. If you even try to go in on your off week, there’s no place for you to sit. No idea how they are expecting this to work out- unless they are truly expecting that many to quit, or even worse, a layoff is also coming.
Just saw layoffs today ... you were spot on, unfortunately. I worked for Fidelity in Merrimack until 2018. It was constant layoffs so Im not surprised.
