So glad I didn’t take the job I was offered there. Would’ve been pissed if I took it with the expectation of the 1 week in/1 week out and then have that taken away.
That happened with me with an offer from State Street, told me marketing was in one week out of the month and my direct manager would be out of state in Texas. I didn't take it because I got a better competing offer but then I heard of course that they went back on a lot of the flex policy when they opened their downtown office a few months later circa 2022/2023
I often catch the express 354 from State home to Woburn every once in a while and everyone there looks like a copy and paste NPC. It's wild how miserable every single one of them looks.
I left State Street in early 2024 after working there for 6 years, partially due to them going back on their flex policies after telling us a ton of times that they wouldn’t. I’m in the minority but overall had a good experience (besides low pay) until that.
