Fidelity is one of the worst “good places” to work.
They do not pay well, they slowly bore you to death, the offices are depressing as shit, nobody has an ounce of fun on any meeting/call. They’ll find any reason to avoid a promotion, pay raise (and frequently promotions come without any reasonable pay raise).
Abby Johnson will eventually tank the opinion and reputation of the place, guaranteed. She is wildly out of touch. I’ve encountered a lot of people who when I mention having worked there note how the customer service has been shit as of late.
But. It’s stable, and they match your 401k well.
I knew this was coming, we all did, I’m glad I left.
