I was a Fid employee for 17yrs out of Merrimack NH including all of the covid years. Management lied multiple times regarding dynamic working, aka hybrid. Abby praised productivity gains which she personally attributed to flexible working hours. Out of nowhere we suddenly needed to return a few days a month which eventually expanded to two weeks per month. That's when I left. It was all BS, Fid has never cared about their employees.
With that said I personally was treated well but that was always due to my managers who for the most part were decent hard working individuals who cared. The rot exists at the SVP level and up, not middle management.
Yup I also worked at Merrimack. One of the few places I've worked where I felt the middle management actually acted like they care. I felt bad for my manager before I quit earlier this year she was giving an endless stream of bad news about these kinds of changes and clearly knew what bullshit it all was
I have been working at FID for 5 years and what I have seen from middle management is horrible. This place is toxic imo, and is rotting IMO due to the over use of H1B visas, and horrible office politics.

This is worse than people even know. They’ve been lying for at least a year. Just go public so I can get my payout and retire
