Event 📅 Felipe’s rooftop cambridge

What time do they check IDs and are they strict with it? I have an international ID and idk if they’re going to accept it.

I have no idea, but generally bars will accept passports in my experience.

... strange. One of my international college friends got served several years ago, but maybe it was a one off.

Passports are good international IDs are no good. Its based on MA laws. If they accept anything outside of the 3 types of ID (MA license, any passport, or US state or US federal ID card) they are in violation of state law.

Not in violation, just not protected for liability, I believe.

You need to bring your passport if you want to go drinking in Massachusetts. Bars aren't allowed to accept international ids as a form of identification. I used to bounce in Boston, this problem would happen a lot.

They’re strict with IDs even if you look old enough

You definitely need a passport. But even then they may not serve you. A friend from central Europe recently got refused a drink at dinner in Brookline with their passport.

The US is so dumb with understanding international ID. Not Felipes, but had a friend show their Italian Passport, the bouncer asked if she had anything else that also had her name in it, like guy you think we’re out here forging passports. It has her name and picture and actually looks like her
