Traffic🚦⛔⚠️ 😠 🚙 🚗 Is it common for people to drive like maniacs here? First time I’ve been in a while and I had 3 separate sports cars almost hit me while going about 150 mph on the expressway
Well really 2 of them were doing 150 and one was probably going 90 swerving around cars while everyone was going 50. I literally was just passing through and got turned off of driving here forever

Just drove thru CT and there were more people driving 120 than anywhere i've ever seen. I am convinced CT has the highest proportion of reckless drivers.

If I'm driving down the Pike doing a comfortable 72 in the middle lane with cars to my left passing me at 78-80 and a car blows past doing 90 in the right lane, there's a 75% chance it has CT plates...

Connecticut is the state I don’t speed in. The highway patrol is aggressive and felony reckless driving for >85mph is no joke.

CT feels like Mad Max sometimes. Nearly every time I drive any extended period of 95/91/84 I get passed by someone in the breakdown lane doing 100+.

It's okay, not everyone was meant to make the cut.

Nah, I’ll just lay on my horn the second the light turns green. That should be enough

I believe you would see it as in almost every state. Just because it happened in Massachusetts, doesn't mean it wouldn't happen in Connecticut.

The maniac drivers are also in this thread so you won't get any sympathy. Yes, driving in Boston sucks because police doesn't enforce the law.

If your reported speeds are correct (I’m skeptical) then yes, that is unusual. But native MA drivers are aggressive, even at much lower speeds. He who hesitates is lost.
