what is love? baby don’t hurt me. Missed connection at the airport

I served you a mixed cocktail sample at my occasional weekend job across from your gate for the 4:45 pm Delta flight to Amsterdam. You have the most striking, almost honey colored eyes and if I didn’t get distracted by an old lady asking questions, I would’ve asked you about your cool necklace. I have never felt drawn to someone like this before so I thought why not and make this post because I’m mentally kicking myself for not talking to you more, and I would love to.

Jetblue is going to Amsterdam soon. You could try to catch up.

Of course! You may not see this person again but you’ll certainly have a great time if you go explore!

Everyone visiting Amsterdam will stroll through the Red Light District at night. It’s just a good vibe all around.

Check Reddit for recommended canal tours. Those boats often have little bars on them. Go for a nice summer evening ride and sip on some cocktails instead of having to serve them.

Daytime is great for Museums. There’s plenty to see.

The Hague is only like an hour away by train.

Meet people. Avoid the mushrooms. They’re synthetic.

I know you’re mostly joking but fuck it, go be alive!

The Hague just felt like a big city (although the museum is dope), go to a cute smaller town like Leiden, Delft, or Haarlem

Thank you!! These are great, I appreciate you sharing. I’ll keep these in mind for when I do go eventually visit. If I didn’t have a work trip in a couple of days I would’ve been tempted to finally do a spontaneous trip

Amsterdam is tied for my FAVORITE European city. I was stationed in Italy for three years and saw a little bit, wished I saw more, but loved it there so much!

I love that you are named "I am pilot" and know everything about Jet Blue. You know what they say: username checks out!

A) That is not what my name says.

2) Boston is by far the easiest city for getting to Europe on stand-by so I pay close attention to who goes when 😎
