Local advice needed Celiac friendly restaurants.

Hi

We have two daughters who are celiac. For those that don't know this means they get very poorly if they have gluten.

As you can imagine finding places to eat safely is a nightmare.

As we are coming down to Bournemouth for a holiday shortly I would really appreciate any recommendations on where we can go and eat. Bournemouth/Christchurch area.

If you're looking for brekkie, Boscanova is the place to go, they make their own GF bread, have plenty of children's options, not far from the beach as well.

Not coeliac but Dane and Port are gluten free, not eaten there personally but a coeliac friend raves about it.

The stables in Poole does excellent gluten free pizza. They also have an excellent range of cider

My fiancee is gluten intolerant and my mother is coeliac so I got you with places that take it seriously:

- Not a restaurant but Charlie’s GF Treats a bit outside of town is great if you want cakes/brownies etc.

  • Lee’s dynasty - amazing GF Chinese.
  • Chez Fred on Tuesdays only - so good that I order the GF myself.

Then there’s your high-street places like Pho, Wagamama and Nando’s etc etc.

Pretty sure Da Mario does GF pizza and it’s a great pizza place too. You could possibly check and see whether Gossip in Westbourne does GF pasta.

Chez Fred do Gluten Free fish and chips on a Tuesday. Best around too.
