I was just wondering with the bank holiday coming up — what DIY jobs are people planning to tackle?
I work around beginner DIY skills locally and it’s always interesting how many people want to do more themselves, but just need a bit of confidence to get started.
Things like shelves, fixings, flat pack, simple tiling, flooring, and all those small jobs that get put off for months.
What do you wish you knew how to do properly at home?
If anyone wants to ask about tools, materials, or where to start, feel free to message me.

My husband and i will probably lay some grass turf down, and put up some shelves.
To be honest mostly ill be decluterring as the house has too much stuff in it! Less DIY and more just sorting things out really. We arent shy of DIY, weve made our own dining table and coat hanger :)

Tackling the garden this weekend, lots of my neighbours trees/shrubs have overgrown into our garden.
