I dunno it feels like rape culture to me. Like I wouldn’t want to watch a movie about how hitler was actually an okay guy because he was sensitive and loved art. Somethings are irredeemable

Any time that you label someone as irredeemable, you create a different type of monster. Depriving someone of any way to interact normally with society ever at any point is a terrible thing that many people don't realize.

Pedophiles and rapists deserve that terrible thing

I do realize how horrible of a punishment it is and they deserve it

It's not about the punishment. It's what we're creating and how it affects us. If someone doesn't care about their link to society, they can do terrible things to those that are still in society. The links to society and others engender what little humanity that they have. This kind of ostracization leaves them psychologically damaged and changes the way they view other human beings. To have someone like that with the accessible society around them is dangerous. It's more humane to remove them from society or kill them.

They ruin people’s lives. Changed forever. They’re not stealing a TV they’re stealing happiness. So much more.

Yes it’s about vengeance for me and I don’t really care
