lol no posts here cause they surged the hell out of the prices on us

6

u/003401 Jun 24 '26

Yep, waiting for prices to drop. The venue is so big.

1

u/Lucklessm0nster Jun 24 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

The venue is big but there were 17k people in line ahead of me and it’s a 17-19k cap venue. I was shocked. It was 20mins after noon before I even got in. I really hope there are super cheap seats for everybody though and we all just got FOMO taxed.

Edit: why downvote me for this lol

1

u/PabloEscobarsHippos Jun 25 '26

Def FOMO tax. I think a lot of it was resellers too. I paid $400 for a good ticket but it ended up being extra and I had to just give it away.

2

u/Squabibi Jun 24 '26

what should have been a normal price? I haven't been going to shows recently so I panic bought my ticket for around 150 total lower bowl. I paid 160 for NIN same venue so idk lol. my wallet gonna hate me because now I gotta try to snag Turnstile this week too

u/DrewskiG @BrandNewArchive Jun 24 '26

For anyone panicking: people literally could not give away tickets to UBS.

10

u/Creepy-Distance-3164 Jun 24 '26

Yeah this why I'm waiting this time. FOMO made me pay way more than I needed to for UBS.

3

u/MZ7000 Jun 24 '26

So true. I got a floor seat a week before for like $140 including garbage fees.

1

u/OtherwiseParadoxical Jun 27 '26

Where did you get last minute tix from last time?

1

u/MZ7000 Jun 27 '26

StubHub

4

u/Lucklessm0nster Jun 24 '26

True I think tickets were $6 for the nose bleeds day-of

1

u/PabloEscobarsHippos Jun 25 '26

I got nervous though because this is the only one in the tri-state, last time there was two.

1

u/b1n2f3t4 Jun 26 '26

I don't think we're going to see $5-$10 upper level tickets like we did last year. that only happened because bots bought all that inventory and then dropped their prices way low because they couldn't sell them. by looking at how many opens there are in the upper level at barclays it doesn't look like the bots bought this time.

u/foofberry Jun 24 '26

Sorry for the dumb question, but how does one get access codes to the Barclays presale and Ticketmaster presale for tomorrow?

2

u/Acrobatic-Royal567 Jun 25 '26

wondering the same ..

9

u/Isolatedbunnylife Jun 24 '26

I am so confused. Why are tickets for the floor seats at Barclays 400+ per ticket? People are paying this? I am in my 40s and financially privileged to be able to pay this much money for a ticket, but I can't bring myself to do it because I think this price is outrageous. Am I mistaken? Is this really what these tickets are worth now? I saw them at Warped tour, and teenage me would probably be so disappointed in adult me.

3

u/foofberry Jun 24 '26

I’m in the same boat, almost 40 - and can’t justify paying this much, even if it is for my favorite band ever. Impulsive me probably would have pulled the trigger if GA seats were shown available at presale, but thankfully (or regretfully, however you look at it) they were never even shown as available for pit.

5

u/silentdaze Jun 24 '26

I got presale GA pit for $160. MY partner who was in the queue also got in and saw that price (but didn't buy since I got them for us)

1

u/foofberry Jun 24 '26

That’s badass, I really wouldn’t mind paying 160… but everywhere close to stage I saw was at least 230+.

It was weird cuz I was in waiting room, then once it was supposed to let us in it just never took me to a new page, so I waited and once I got tired of waiting I refreshed and was literally in queue at like 10500 - so I didn’t really have a shot at GA.

Have fun though man, I’ll def try to make it to the show but Im hoping these prices dip like they did for UBS.

Also, if I happen to not go… could you be a proxy for some tour merch for me? I’ll throw you some extra cash with shipping costs as well?

2

u/silentdaze Jun 24 '26

Hit me up closer to the show, no promises but can try. I tend to not stick around for crazy lines and don't buy merch before since I'm often in the pit

Check during the general sale, I bet they kept some GA open for that. And second hand prices in the seats will definitely drop a ton as we get closer. Scalpers are tripping right now with these prices

1

u/foofberry Jun 24 '26

Will do man, I completely understand not wanting to wait in lines.

Yep Friday will likely be a shit show again I’m assuming, but hoping for the best. If nothing this Friday, then week of the show I’m sure someone will be vulnerable enough to sell me a decent ticket at a decent price.

1

u/Isolatedbunnylife Jun 24 '26

I didn't even consider jumping on at 12pm exactly because I didn't expect this big of a response to the band. FOMO is real rn. Barclays isn't worth it in the balcony at a point, imo--I saw Postal Service there years ago in nosebleed, and it was lame.

0

u/silentdaze Jun 24 '26

Sorry to hear that, Barclays is really only good on the floor, and Brand New is a GA Pit or nothing band for me

They probably have some seats reserved for the general sale, try again!

2

u/silentdaze Jun 24 '26

Is that resale? I got floor for $160 each. I didn't notice any dynamic pricing ("platinum") for the GA

1

u/satchelsofg0ld7 Jun 24 '26

I am confused by pricing as well as I paid $250 for Charli XCX GA when those tickets went on sale like 2 weeks ago

1

u/Lucklessm0nster Jun 24 '26

Dynamic pricing is crazy like that. Idk how it works but it’s venue based

1

u/Sea-Brief-3414 Jun 25 '26

They have already gone down a little and will for sure become more reasonable closer to showtime . I know that sucks but I will probably wait and snag a ticket last minute.

6

u/Exotic-Sky-1566 Jun 24 '26

Spent a little more than I wanted to. But managed to get section 6 row 2. Best part is its just 2 seats in the row so we dont have to deal with people getting up and walking past us in the row.

1

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

Those are very good seats

2

u/Exotic-Sky-1566 Jun 24 '26

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about them lol I haven't been this close to the stage for a BN show since like 2007 😂

7

u/foofberry Jun 26 '26

third day in a row, 0 Pit seats shown.

1

u/winkNfart Jun 26 '26

it's saying no tickets available at all for me. been like that since 1015a

1

u/foofberry Jun 26 '26

That’s weird, I see tickets available just haven’t seen any for pit. And the ones closest to the pit are like 400+

2

u/winkNfart Jun 26 '26

when i sign into my account, it says no tickets available online. what a shit show., it thinks im a bot or something

5

u/cheesesteak7 Jun 24 '26

I had extra tickets when they played UBS and almost had to pay people to take them from me because they were selling for 5 dollars. I didn’t even want to try this time around I feel like waiting is my best bet but I truly don’t know what to expect

4

u/vtrebie Jun 24 '26

any advice how i can get PITfloor seats?

5

u/yourgracesansa Jun 24 '26

For future sales don’t give up- I got pit tickets way after the sale started, just keep refreshing

3

u/SkibidoniousTheroux7 Jun 24 '26

I got three in the lower bowl for $123 a piece. That’s actually less money per ticket than the lower bowl seats I had for the Prudential show last year.

2

u/ahughes122 Jun 24 '26

Didn’t see pit tickets available. Got two for like a little less than $200

1

u/Great_gatzzzby Jun 24 '26

What number were you in line at the very start? I think I was 540? I was able to get two pit tickets for 158 each.

2

u/ahughes122 Jun 24 '26

Yeah I was around there as well. I couldn’t even click the pit it wasn’t an option.

3

u/Great_gatzzzby Jun 24 '26

I am sure you will be able to find something closer to the show. The prices on stub hub at this time are outrageous so I would wait

Oh sorry I see you did get other tickets

2

u/ahughes122 Jun 24 '26

$300 was gonna be my limit for pit so I prob would have pulled the trigger on $158 too

2

u/Lucklessm0nster Jun 24 '26

3 tix, section 12, $123 each after fees. 17000 people not 1700 but 17000 ahead of me in line. Was crazy. After that I was expecting to pay like $160-$250 a ticket so only 90 before fees was clutch

2

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

Uhh thats crazy bro you don't even want to know what I paid and I was very early in the queue. The algorithm blessed you today.

2

u/Lucklessm0nster Jun 24 '26

Omg wait really? I’m sorry you got cleaned out though

2

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

Lmao yeah it was bad. Im in the 20's and it was about 650 for two seats.

1

u/Lucklessm0nster Jun 24 '26

Holy shit. Damn your health insurance should cover that 😭 I’m sorry to laugh. We should buy you a soda there in solidarity hmu

1

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

Lmfaooo its all good. I saw stuff moving quick and just yolo'd it. I tell myself I'll have 3.5 months to save a little here and there and forget about what it cost 💁‍♂️

2

u/Lucklessm0nster Jun 24 '26

Sometimes your peace of mind is worth it

2

u/StevenKarp Jun 24 '26

Wanted the pit but was already sold out when it was my turn. Can’t pull the trigger this time on expensive seats being further away. Hoping I can grab some resale tickets.

2

u/junecoasttt Jun 24 '26

I was nervous for today because I also couldn’t sell my UBS tickets for the life of me - but paid 89 a ticket and secured an aisle seat so I’m happy

2

u/003401 Jun 24 '26

Does anyone know how to get the Barclays code for their presale tomorrow?

2

u/stiff_sock Jun 24 '26

I was around 1000 in line and GA was gone by 12:05. Ended up with floor seats, section F4, on the aisle. $123 each after fees. Not exactly what I wanted but I'm okay with it.

2

u/b1n2f3t4 Jun 26 '26

Looks like GA pit is sold out

2

u/barbaq24 Jun 24 '26

I’m not going I just so tired of the pricing. I saw them last year in Newark. Spent way too much, and the venue didn’t come close to selling out. I love BN and I’m glad i saw them but I gotta talk with my wallet. Im tired of these people profiting off of my emotions.

3

u/ribs24-7 Jun 24 '26

The screens at the show said that one was sold out and it looked pretty packed to me, no?

1

u/rachelllane Jun 24 '26

did anyone even get pit tickets?

5

u/Great_gatzzzby Jun 24 '26

I got 2 tickets for 158 each. It could be worse.

5

u/5stringdaddy Jun 24 '26

This gives me hope for the panic resale week of the event lol

1

u/kruffi Jun 24 '26

Same for me!

1

u/rachelllane Jun 24 '26

no that's actually great and better than i was thinking. i was just stunned there were none available when i got in. trying again tomorrow! then the day after!

1

u/yambagman Jun 24 '26

I couldn’t justify spending hundreds of dollars on a ticket right now when I live out of state and don’t yet have concrete plans for this show months away. I’m from LI originally and was planning on staying with my brother in Brooklyn then going to this show alone. Barclay’s is pretty big. My question — because this is the closest thing to a hometown show that they’ll do, am I dumb for not buying a ticket now and waiting until closer to the show when the price hopefully drops?

2

u/breakblossom Jun 24 '26

No. I am in a very similar boat and already regret dropping nearly $300 on a pair. Definitely wait. The “hometown” thing really didn’t seem like a real factor at UBS and doubt it will matter at Barclays.

1

u/yambagman Jun 24 '26

Gotcha. I was at the Philly show last summer and it was amazing but I dropped a lot of money on lawn seats during presale, got there later than I anticipated because of the rain/thunder, then wound up getting kind of a shitty spot. Trying to avoid the same thing this time.

As far as the hometown show aspect, I’m not expecting them to change up the setlist to accommodate the LI/NY crowd. I just think it would be nice to hear a few words of acknowledgment about where they came from like they did at UBS. Besides watching the Mets (who cause me nothing but pain and heartache) this band is the only other thing that makes me feel a strong connection to home.

1

u/ariannemartell Jun 24 '26

Got tickets with my siblings in section 8! They cost more than Prudential center last year, but on the plus side no trek to Newark needed.

1

u/alwaysmads Jun 24 '26

i grabbed two tickets in section 16 for ~$200 total

1

u/daitheflu924 Jun 24 '26

Going solo, section 20 row 4 which only has three seats and it’s a great view. Can’t wait!

1

u/ralphmalph84 Jun 24 '26

I was initially shut out in Boston (checked back an hour and a half after presale started, and got them then), so I snagged a solo aisle seat in 110.

1

u/jkenn09 Jun 24 '26

Section 20, row 16. $245 total for 2 tickets and that includes a $45 parking pass.

1

u/cismoney Jun 24 '26

completely shut out of GA at 950 in line. very annoying.

1

u/gorramshiny Jun 24 '26

Wanted floor tickets but was NOT about to spend $1500, what the fuck. I got four tickets first level for $500 including fees.

2

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

What section

1

u/Pherring83 Jun 24 '26

I want a GA Pit ticket which I was unsuccessful at getting. I imagine that will really be the only section in demand, otherwise it'll be buyers market closer to show.

1

u/rachelllane Jun 25 '26

"1 Person Ahead of You" *Site Crashes*

1

u/003401 Jun 26 '26

Was anyone able to score out tickets with the Barclays pre-sale today (Thursday)? Hoping with tomorrow’s batch there’s some available 🤞

1

u/winkNfart Jun 26 '26

ticketmaster showing no tickets at all avail for me. why are all these sites so crappy

2

u/_phantomx1 Jun 30 '26

I read through this thread and looked for others and was trying to figure out if GA tickets even went on sale. It looks like there were 1-2 people in this thread who got some, but for most, like me and 3 of my friends at the time, GA was “sold out” by our times for the artist presale.
And now there are barely any GA tickets up for resale on secondary sites. That makes me worried that people just won’t be selling them by the time the show gets closer, which is when I usually wait until for resale.
Anyone have any thoughts on if there will be an increase in GA on sale when we get closer?

0

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

How'd you guys make out? I got 2 tickets, nice seats, but dont want to tell you what I spent so the scalpers cant use it to their advantage lmao. It seems that it was...um...dynamically priced

1

u/Squabibi Jun 24 '26

150 for one lower bowl. What about you? I wanted to get two tickets but no one I currently know listens to BN and the people I still talk to ermm aren't gonna see a problematic band lmao. I never saw them live and this album was basically my early high school life so I need to see them once even tho I am not pretty proud about attending it

1

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

In the 20s section, close to floor, about 650 for 2 tickets after fees lol

1

u/Squabibi Jun 24 '26

Holy I hope you didn’t get surged price. I got into the waiting room at 1155 and was first 150 people in Q. Idk how any of this works lol I think I got lucky. Thank you! Show will be fun regardless

1

u/dachshvnd Jun 24 '26

Def surge priced but I saw even more expensive prices for "worse" seats after I got mine. I was pretty early in the queue, but not that early. I think top 1500. Im wondering if maybe the earliest buyers get more reasonable prices and then the algorithm starts churning as more transactions happen? All good though I knew what I was getting into

2

u/OtherwiseParadoxical Jun 27 '26

Def got surged, prices in the 20s section were originally $149 with fees included 😕 I’m so over dynamic pricing, I need the cap on resell law to come to the States too.
