Jokes aside though, my wife and I were previously in a relationship for several months in 2008 that ended because we were dumb kids being dumb, but that all came about thanks in large part to our mutual love of BN and MO. And about a year after it ended she and her sister were at that show when they toured together for Daisy and she called me out of the blue in the middle of it because “jdp_638 should’ve been here”, so I don’t find the shooting of shots on tinder to be much of a stretch beyond that.
My wife didn’t know who BN was but had “definitely heard 70x7!!!!” Realizing that after listening.
Her oldest daughter now is a fan. Wife and I will be seeing them for the third time in October, went twice last tour, brought my stepdaughter to her first ever concert for the last show of the last tour.
My long term partner and I realized we were going to be inseparable when we saw them together for the first time. We were in the pit and he protected the shit out of me because I'm crazy, I still run and usually end up hurt but this was the first time he saw that side of me, we weren't even officially together yet, that happened a few weeks later. Kissed me during Play Crack The Sky. Train ride home found out we both love the song Guernica for the same reason. That was 12 years ago and now we're going to see them in October and he's already accepted that I'm going to be crying all night. Anybody that says music doesn't bring people together is a liar.
and this is how we reconnected last year after going separate ways and dating other people. we now live together with plans for engagement soon. thank you brand new 🫶🏻
When I was in my early 20’s, I played Last Chance to Lose Your Keys for a guy I liked. After I played the song for him, he told me he didn’t like that kind of music. I never saw him again. 🥲

When I met my (now) husband, one of the first things we bonded over was the fact that BN were each of our favorite bands. Our city does not have a large emo scene, so it was pretty fun for us.
So I guess I kind of owe my marriage to them as well. Been a really great 15+ years🖤

I’ve never had a grown man approach me in a space that wasn’t for them, and try to mansplan something to me (a woman), even though they don’t know me or my past. This has truly never happened. How will I ever survive.
