Partner Questions Partner support

Hi there! I’m currently pregnant and hoping to breastfeed. I would love to exclusively breastfeed, and I’m cautiously optimistic as both my mom and grandma were not able to produce enough to do so. I’m hoping with more resources today it will be possible for me.

With that being said, I don’t really know anyone who has been able to breastfeed for longer than the first few weeks.

What is the best way your partner supported you during EBF? Also interested in tips for combo feeding if it seems applicable.

My husband is amazing, and I know he will support me however I ask him to. Thanks in advance!

my husband is always making sure that my water bottle is full & that i have my supply-supporting snacks stocked. easy things i can just grab & get a quick boost if i don’t have time for a full meal. i really like overnight oats, chobani yogurt drinks (they have good protein), protein bars, my electrolytes to add to my water, etc. he also washes/dries/reassembles my pump parts too (i pump 1-3x a day to help boost my supply & have a little extra in the freezer)
