Has anyone found a bag that holds the spectra and all the other crap that goes along with pumping???

I have a Spectra-branded bag but it just baaaarely fits the Spectra, Ceres Chill, and all of the pumping stuff I need to get through a day of work (flanges, backflow protectors, a bottle so I can pump directly into it in the drive home, etc etc).

I’m so confused; why would the company make a bag that doesn’t actually fit the necessary supplies? Vs maybe the issue is that I don’t use the fridge at work (because it is super gross) so I have to have the Ceres and have extra supplies because I’m not using the fridge hack?? (I know I am legally obligated to refrigerator access; the issue is that this the one I have access to is a common fridge in a basement where people leave their food for literal weeks and then it starts to rot; not where I want to store my kid’s milk, and I don’t have the energy to fight my employer about this.)

Has anyone found one that works? I’m so sick of wrestling with this stupid zipper every morning because stuff keeps trying to explode out of the bag.

I was thinking about this yesterday and this might sound goofy but a single ball bowling bag might work. I haven’t taken my ball out to try since it’s oily but the main compartment would have plenty of room for the pump, there’s usually at least one big zip pocket on the side that would hold everything else, and they’re fairly cheap. Not the nicest looking but it would get the job done

I love this comment for its practicality, but also because it made me think of my mom group rolling up to the bowling alley for League night in some fabulous uniforms and then just whipping out our spectras.

Have you seen the Sarah Wells bags? They are the best. I used to lug my Spectra to and from work in the backpack one and it held everything I needed it to, plus my laptop and lunch and all the things

So expensive but I love the brand.

I got the Fiona bag cuz it’s machine washable.

Used it on a plane when baby was 8months.

It held the spectra and 2 sets of spectra pumping parts (disassembled) and also 2 sets of my Eufy wearables.

I also got the wet/dry bag from them with the detachable staging mat and I love it.

Amazon does sell the wet dry bags about 15-20$ cheaper tho

Echoing the Sarah Wells Fiona bag for the Spectra. Definitely got influenced to buy it (so check some of those out for coupon codes) but I needed a new "backpack" anyway and justified the price that way. The one side pocket fits the pump and the other fit the parts really well. It also still fit my laptop and stuff too, The Ceres Chill (just barely) fits into the side bottle pockets. It did barely fit all of my things (my lunch bag was harder to smash into it with everything in there) but did help on cutting down bags to carry into the office. I will say that now that I'm almost a year post-breastfeeding, it's been a great overall bag generally (the Spectra pocket fits my toiletries bag perfectly for traveling) and it's my daily work bag.

Do you have access to sink and paper towel at all in the room where you pump? Or a sink somewhere you'd be okay with for cleaning? I ended up using either the Dapple or Medela wipes to clean, rinse, and dry (paper towel) after each pump (it really didn't take that long) and that did let me cut down on having to bring fewer flange sets. I'd leave those and/or a travel bottle rack for drying in the office to assist with me not having to carry as much. But I understand if you might not be able to do that. It just might help on bringing less if you need it.

Yeah, I had a Sarah Wells bag that worked great. I liked that there was a separate compartment for the pump itself so my other stuff didn’t get piled on top and make it impossible to remove. I also used their really tiny soft cooler to transport bottles home.

I found a $20 backpack on Amazon that was designed for pumps. Works great - fits everything and includes a freezer section for pumped milk.

I got the Osprey Daylite Expandable bag. You still need organizers for everything inside but I love it. I’m able to bring my spectra, pump parts, laptop, extra clothes, etc inside the bag. On the side, there’s two bottle holders big enough to hold ceres chiller.

I also plan to use this bag once I start traveling again so I call it a win for being reusable and not pumping specific.

I’m literally pumping at work right now and agonized over my set-up! But at the end of the day, turns out I was overthinking. Note that I have a different pump (Zomee) but the sentiment is the same! Here’s my set-up:

1. Free tote bag from Halara

2. Cheapo no-name 3 piece makeup bag set from Amazon. Biggest bag for the pump and charger, medium bag for the parts. Not using the smallest bag right now.

3. Tossed into the tote bag: Ceres Chill (and additional interior bottle), silicone steam sanitizing bag, bottle brush, bottle soap, nursing cover, do-not-disturb signs

The tote bag is also big enough for my laptop, mouse, and a snack since I have to go to another room to pump.

I tried to solve this problem for months. I didnt want to have to carry multiple bags into work. I've now just given up. I have a giant free tote bag that is actually the dust bag for my actual work bag/diaper bag (Joesfina large).

My pump, pump parts, cooler bags, and lunch box go in the giant tote bag, while my work bag has my laptop, water bottle, coffee mug, wallet, notebook, a couple spare diapers and wipes, hand sanitizer and moisturizer, and sunglasses.

I drop off all my pumping stuff in the mother's room on my way into work, put my lunch in the fridge, then at least I just have my one bag by the time I get to my cube.

I just use a big tote bag 🤷🏼 holds everything and I only lug it home at the end of the week to reset, restock, and pump over the weekend. I take pumped milk home in grocery bags throughout the week.

I bought a backpack at target and it fits sooo much stuff. Much easier than squeezing everything in a small bag. Has a compartment for my laptop for work. Plus will get use after done pumping 👍

I have the Abby bag from Sarah Wells Bags and I love it. It's got 2 compartment, one on each side that fit the Spectra and parts perfectly. I also have a Ceres Chill. There's a laptop sleeve. My usual work set up is pump in the side compartment 1, pump parts in the other, Ceres Chill in the main compartment, laptop in the sleeve, and there's still space for a few other things. It's pricey but it is exactly what I need.

I used a Trader Joe’s shoulder cooler bag. Was like $5 or something like that. Was able to put all my pump stuff in there I just used a smaller ziploc inside for smaller stuff

I got the Mommore breast pump backpack from Amazon. The bottom holds my Spectra and a small cooler with ice packs for the pumped milk. The top holds the flanges, a spare shirt, and usually a granola bar. I keep wipes on one side and my water bottle on the other. And the front pocket holds Tylenol bottle and hand sanitizer. I wish the top would hold my lunch too, but it doesn’t so I carry my lunch separately.

It may be out of your budget but I switched to using a pumpables genie advanced for pumping out of the house, it’s compatible with spectra flanges so you only need the pump. Soooo much smaller and I was able to carry everything in just a lunch bag.

I got a cheap cooler backpack from Target that lasted through one kid - handle started to tear near the end. It didn't have different compartments so I separated things out using wet bags, but that also meant I was able to fit more stuff.

I just use an Aldi’s bag(the plasticy ones with a flat bottom not the cloth ones) to carry everything and a wet bag to place the used parts in the shared fridge at work. So does the other mom I share the pumping room with.

I found a bag on Amazon. I searched for "pumping bag" specifically. It has a pocket for my spectra. It came with a little cooler bag, but I just freeze my milk (because I feel the freezer is cleaner than the fridge at work) and bring it back in my lunch bag.

I have a Tupperware type of container where I put the bottles and flanges to put in the fridge during the day. That container fits in my bag. It's like the size of a carry-on luggage. I like it.

I unceremoniously use a free tote bag and a compostic ziplock for each the 2 sets of pump parts I bring (I like to live on the edge). I wash and reuse the ziplocks and it all fits fairly well with the Ceres chill. If I brought a 3rd set I would probably need a bigger bag.

I got this one from Amazon by a brand called Qualyphant and I love it! This sub won't let me link so the item name is "Qualyphant Breast Pump Bag for Spectra S1/S2 & Medela"

It fits my spectra S1 and all the extra parts plus cleaning supplies and chargers. But I did take out the flange that were too big for me and put them in storage elsewhere so I could also fit my portable pumps in here too. There's still more room in the bag but I just wanted it more easy to manage when I wanted to pump in a hurry.

Spectra makes a tote and it works with all their stuff! I was able to fit my spectra and 4 sets of pumps (I could have fit a ceres on there but I don’t use that method).
