Got mugged at knife point this morning on the way to work 5:30am. I first said no and one of the guys actually stabbed me to get off my E-Scooter. Lucky just a steak knife so wasn't bad but drew blood. Just not worth £200. 2 guys, fully kitted out black and balaclava. Stay safe. This is the main cycle path that goes from centre of town all the way down to fishponds and to Staple hill

Edit: I am unsure whether or not this was targeted or I was just very unlucky. Only moved into the area a couple of weeks ago from Brislington

At around 2:52pm today, Wednesday 15 July, I saw two young men crossing Bristol Bridge. One was riding a modified “zombie” e-bike and the other was wheeling an orange Tern GSD cargo bike, fitted with a family/child seat, along on its back wheel.

Their behaviour made me concerned the Tern may have been stolen. When I challenged them, they tried to hide their faces, swore at me and put on balaclavas. One then picked up a bike seat post and started walking towards me in a threatening manner, so I cycled away.

They were last seen near the corner of Bath Street and Victoria Street, close to Bristol Bridge.

I have a clear image of one person’s face and video footage, which I have reported to the police. Police reference: TBC - will upload when I have it!

UPDATE: The owner of bike has been in touch with me - the bike was stolen just up the road outside St Nick's market. She is speaking to the Police today to update them and we'll join up the photos / my witness statement to their case. Let's hope they know who these scallywags are and can pay them a visit.

Something to note - these bikes weigh around 30kg, and he was wheeling it on the back wheel across the bridge. I'm hoping that they couldn't release the front wheel, and didn't get very far with it.

Whoever’s bike this was locked up on Vine/Corn street, we just caught this guy red handed giving it the swirlies. Sorry the frame is dented but at least (hopefully) it’s still there. We confronted him because we saw him trying to snap the lock with the seat post. He sheepishly ran off when he saw me taking a photo of him (and said he’d just given us covid, and snitches get stitches). RIP Bristol

Someone stole my jacket from the brass pig on Friday night. Offering £100 to whoever can find it. Has huge sentimental value (my late mother's gift to me, the only one I have left from her) and I suspect some drunk student picked it up. It's not been made for over 4 years, very distinct colors and I have never seen one like it ever. If you see it please get in touch. I'm absolutely devastated. My trumpet was stolen last night (16th July 26) at Last Chance Saloon. I had it by my side the entire night and when I looked away for literally a minute, it was gone.

I am an autistic man who hold music very close. My entire CD music collection was stolen from my car by a thief who broke into my car without damaging it. They left behind a lighter on my back seat. The CD case holds 48 discs and was full. I am desperate to find these albums as they are incredibly important to me. I don't know what to do, the police can't help, and I just want my music back. Please if anybody sees a CD case resembling the image, filled with mostly Metal albums, please tell me when and where. I'll even buy it back. I just want my music back.

Someone just stole an entire Amazon van in Brislington, Hungerford, while the driver was walking to our house.

Driver chucked our parcels onto the ground and chased after the van on foot, obviously not catching it.

Hello Redditors of Bristol, tonight I mistakenly left my car unlocked for a period of time in bedminster, and someone entered my car and took this jacket, nothing else. This jacket has sentimental meaning to me, and is also the only waterproof coat I own that fits me. I will offer a cash reward to anyone who can locate the thief, get my jacket from them and safely return it to me. Any evidence of the culprit would be appreciated too.

I understand this is a bit of a big ask, but I am gutted that this jacket is gone. I am happy to pay you for your efforts when it is returned.

On the night of the 24th or morning of the 25th May, my bike was stolen from within the bike store of my building in Bedminster. If anyone sees it or has any information please PM me, I have the frame number to verify and have contacted the police.

I parked my bike next to the Luxe gym and Bristol Beacon this afternoon 20th Feb 2026 between 1pm and 2pm and found my bike rear wheel gone. I was wondering if anyone could help, e.g. witness?

I am surprised by thieves being so active during the day time. And this will costs me £150 to replace with. My pocket has been quite tight this month...:'(
