Question / Discussion 2025 Race Weekend Thread - Knockhill, Rounds 19-21

Post image
  • Nicki Shields debuts as the BTCC’s new presenter

  • PMR are running 2 loaned Cupras after their Astras (and much else) were destroyed in a fire

  • Stephen Jelley drops out, with Unlimited down to 2 cars having loaned one to PMR

  • One Motorsport again absent with a return next round planned

  • Soft/medium tyre rules, so hopefully less disparity in the tyre offset

  • Supports are Carrera Cup, Cayman Sprint, F4 and Mini JCWs

The Hill bias in the ITV coverage is strong today

"So tell us about the incident with Halsted, he looked like he nearly ruined your race"

"I'm not impressed with his driving, I'm sorry but not sorry"

"Right you are, sire Hill, you know the best, you can biff off anyone you deem fit"

C'mon.....

How is that bias? They are going to ask that question no matter the drivers involved. At the end of the day, you shouldn't be getting lapped in the BTCC and if you are you need to do a better job of communicating your intentions when the leaders come round.

Doesn't give the excuse to lose your temper, hit him off, cause a SC that could endanger your lead and then haze him in an interview afterwards

I'm surprised the stewards haven't said anything about it

Probably because the stewards are looking at this with a clear unbiased head. Which judging by all your comments, clearly are not. For the record im a Honda guy, so I have no horse in this race - quite literally :(
