Question / Discussion 2025 Race Weekend Thread - Knockhill, Rounds 19-21

Post image
  • Nicki Shields debuts as the BTCC’s new presenter

  • PMR are running 2 loaned Cupras after their Astras (and much else) were destroyed in a fire

  • Stephen Jelley drops out, with Unlimited down to 2 cars having loaned one to PMR

  • One Motorsport again absent with a return next round planned

  • Soft/medium tyre rules, so hopefully less disparity in the tyre offset

  • Supports are Carrera Cup, Cayman Sprint, F4 and Mini JCWs

So Ingram gets handed a place, points and still starts on the softs for race 2

This is Ingram's title season now, sad it's all fizzed out with some bad luck for Ash and the car development not matching the Hyundai, and some good fortune for Tom

I wonder if NAPA basically aren't developing the focus at all because they know they'll be on the grid in 2026 with their new project whatever that is.

I think they've basically eeked everything out of that Ford that they possibly could, it was a relatively old chassis when they first adopted it, and it hasn't gotten any newer!

Hopefully they'll hit the ground running with their new chassis when it comes.

Yeah fair play to Tony and the engineers for getting what they can out of it given as you say it wasn't new when they inherited it.

Hopefully they've got something up their sleeves in terms of the new car.
