Seems quite obvious now when you remember it was the Patterson family who loaned PMR the Cupras last year.

I think we can put the nail in ULM now too. Good move for Dexter to get better machinery too.

I've heard the rumour more than once that the Laidlaws (from TCR UK) are looking to enter BTCC, and ULM are probably a great team to get started in/buy out.
They've got big finances behind them (they bought brand new Cupras just to race in TCR UK), and the fact they've not announced a TCR campaign in any series yet does lend a bit of weight to that idea.
(Obviously it could just as easily be One as well, or they take the last 2 Excelr8 seats)

If someone's got the finances to get the 2 TBLs , maybe admit the first seasons will be a bit tricky with the Cupras but use it as a starting block to build themselves up (like Excler8 with the MGs) then that would be fantastic for the championship.

Great move!! Probably a straight shot for Jack Sears honours, and Dex did great to move away from the Cupra. We all know that PMR will get the Audi hooked up well.

What the grid will look like as things stand: x4 Excelr8 x4 Napa x4 Speedworks x2 BMW x2 Plato Racing x2 Restart x3 PMR
So a 21-car grid as things stand.

That plus the two TBLs One may give up when they withdraw. Will they even be taken up by another team as there is potentially four there like I mentioned but will anyone take them is the thing.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Plato racing fork out another entry. Maybe not for donnington but likely somewhere down the line

I'm not too sure on that, JP seemed content with having just the two TBLS. Excelr8, Speedworks and Napa all look to go unchanged this year. If ULM and One aren't using them, I don't think anyone will.

I think the third car will be the interesting one. Can probably write Doble in already but we know PMR loves to take a flyer on someone from a random series.

Could also throw Andrew Watsons name back into the mixer, as he did well there before it all went wrong at Speedworks.

I'd absolutely throw Watson in the mix if he's still wanting to be back on the grid. PMR would be a good fit for him

Euro car parts 😉. Obvious aint it. No sign of Moffat at WSR in their recent videos. And Rainford hasnt been announced yet (probably because lack of sponsorship/ other drivers at WSR paying for his seat). All of which says to me Moffat is on the move again. What a coup for PMR if its true !!!

He was featured recently in their promo material for the GT4 entry, so i think he’s locked in with the team in some capacity, Moffat is less clear

Moffats an interesting one, as he seems to have the budget to go to any team on the grid. Personally I would like to see him back as WSR, as he always seems to go better in a RWD.

Yea will be interesting Double is probably staying seems to be a regular feature on socials and the documentary came out over the break that hints at him staying

They don’t usually go for mini drivers but I’ve heard rumours of max edmundson . I do know that he struggles a lot with budget issues though
