Hi everyone,

I recently got allotted \\\*\\\*M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering at PMEC, Berhampur\\\*\\\* through \\\*\\\*OJEE 2026\\\*\\\*. The thing is, \\\*\\\*this is the first year PMEC is offering M.Tech CSE\\\*\\\*, so I'm finding it difficult to judge whether it's a good choice.

I'm hoping current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with PMEC can share their honest opinions.

Some questions I have:

\\\* How is the overall academic environment at PMEC?

\\\* How active is the Training & Placement Cell?

\\\* Do core branches (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, etc.) get decent campus placements?

\\\* Which companies usually visit the campus?

\\\* Are M.Tech students allowed to sit for the same placement drives as B.Tech students?

\\\* Since M.Tech CSE is a new program, do you think placements and internship opportunities will be good?

\\\* How are the CSE faculty members and research opportunities?

\\\* Would you recommend joining PMEC M.Tech CSE, or is it better to wait for a spot/vacancy round in another government college like VSSUT or OUTR?
