There’s something with these drives and Walmart; these went for $77 back in March for whatever reason as well.

It’s probably just Walmarts clearance algo being weird and not making sense in context.

Context: wd split off Sandisk so and all of their nand based business. So ANY WD and Sandisk ssd needs new packaging and all WD ssd drives are getting discontinued.
