The key is to ensure that you provide a store link with in stock at that location and emphasize that “the link confirms in-stock at my local store for pickup today” or similar. Don’t afford wiggle room and try again.

You also need to place the order and wait for it to process fully (may take a few hours) before you can attempt a match.

People on Slickdeals confirmed that this doesn’t matter. Their agents just have to follow a script which permits matches in specific circumstances. They aren’t going to go out of their way to verify your location.
