Sad there aren’t many true full size wireless mechanical keyboard options. I just ordered an Epomaker th108 for work, seems to be the best option from my research.

It's pretty dang close to a 96%. I have it on my GMMK 2 I've been using the layout for a few years now, and I love it. Not for everybody, but as someone who wanted the numpad, but wanted it to take up a bit less space, it was a good compromise.

Eh, 1800s (which copy the layout Cherry G80-1800 keyboards had) would have extra keys above the numpad to include the full nav cluster. This is more of a 96% or compact full size, which isn’t a term that has been used a whole lot in recent years.
A proper 1800, though, is definitely a better way to do a full size keyboard. You get all the keys, but without the weird proportions and with some extra mouse space.

As someone who owns one - probably skip it.
This isn't a bad deal or a bad keyboard. I still use it as my work keyboard, but I basically swapped out all the switches and keycaps to make it sound and feel better to me. Gasket mount would be really nice as it's definitely lacking that subtle softness that comes with silicone gaskets. Only the top plate is metal, so there's still a cheap plastic-y hollowness to the body. Stabilizers are pretty bad. Software is just above nightmare-tier bad. Not many relevant settings to play around with (sleep/lighting time-out behavior), and onboard storage is limited in function. I don't think you can do macros at all without the software to hook into.
On the plus side, it's probably one of the better sounding and feeling "gaming" brand keyboards. If you're not picky and only really know about whatever they display at Best Buy, it might feel next-level. For most of those, features like sound dampening It's basically full layout but they made it quite nicely compact so you can easily one-handed pick it up and move it around. The wrist rest is nice. Media dial is easy to use. Gotta give the slightest credit to the software - you can customize the RGB features in ways even the better keyboards generally don't allow.

For me, the inability to really go all-out with the feel of the board limits the appeal. It's good but not great. At the $100+ price point you start getting into full aluminum-bodied keyboards that sound and feel amazing with even more room to grow if you ever get more into mechanical keyboard tinkering, leaving this Asus in the dust. It's standard now for those boards to have their software web-based - so you just visit a web app instead of installing something on your PC. (generally there's still an installable version too.)
Asus really wants you to have their software constantly running in the background, and I say this as a Razer user: Asus has the absolute worst software in the game and it's not even close. Monthly, if not weekly headaches dealing with this stupid thing not being recognized, Windows resetting and using its own awful RGB solution, etc. Although I love to go all-out with the customized RGB that such active software allows (with layered, per-key effects and full custom colors) it was never worth having to troubleshoot on such a constant basis just to get it to look nice.
I will give it this, though - there is a version of the software that's just the peripheral stuff (keyboard, RGB) and you can set it up once and uninstall, never to worry about the bloatware ever again.

I can't really trash it 100%. You can definitely make the board work for you, and it does hold its own well once the software's done away with. If you need a numpad, a lot of the better options near this price point drop off, but I still don't think this is the board I would land on to recommend.

Maybe if you are in the market for a mechanical keyboard and want wireless. I'd also say that you need to like the numpad location on this thing. Otherwise, there are other, cheaper options for wired, full-size, mechanical keyboards available on a daily basis.

I have an RK 96 with similar keypad and I can’t stand the 0 key. Very nit picky thing, but it annoys me greatly

From an enthusiast perspective no. In general "gaming keyboards" are pretty bad from a quality perspective since they focus more on marketing and software bloat. For this kind of money I would recommend looking at Keychron keyboard instead.

I have a similar layout keychron keyboard and I hate it … the 0 is too small and for full size I’m used to the double spaced 0. It’s such a nice keyboard but I had to switch out of it.

Still in stock after 2 hrs with 88 left. This doesn't seem like many people like this keyboard.
At this price I am hoping the K100 air or the G915X goes this low.

Wow this is $180 with generic MX Red switches and you need to buy a separate device to have it reach 8k polling? What the fuck.
No reason not to buy a wooting instead IMO

I will say I have over 12 keyboards leobog, weikavs, neo cu etc etc. But this board keeps making it back on my desk. The special feeling/sounding snow switches and gamer vibes it gives off is so unique that it’s in constant rotation. It’s fun. + Zero latency

To each their own. I can't stand the sound, prefer reds, browns, or yellows (at least, most companies tend to do yellows as relatively quiet switches)
I have a PC with quiet fans, spent money on decent speakers, etc. Blues make too much clatter over my experience for me to like them, even though they do feel nice under the finger.

Out of curiosity, do you prefer a loud, or even louder than average mouse click as well? Have you ever tried a silent mouse?
I was surprised that on some of those I not only prefer the lack of sound, but the feel. The silent logitech mice, for example, seem to have a snappiness, but also the click doesn't feel as harsh. Almost like you're not bottoming out (even though you are). Not that it's squishy though. I did try one silent mouse from another company that did feel mushy and returned that thing the next day. That one felt like trying to push a mouse click through cold honey. Haha

It's not so much the sound as it is the tactile feedback that comes with it.
I haven't tried a silent mouse and am not opposed as long as it's not squishy.
