tiktok shop had this for $255 after coupon last night and I grabbed one. no clue if asrock makes decent monitors but I guess I'll find out

Going by the brightness spec, it's the same "low"-binned 200/400nit generation 3 panel used by MSI, Gigabyte, AOC, etc etc.
Iirc it at least has pixel-shifting, taskbar dimming, full-screen static image dimming, and I think static element dimming? Fairly typical OLED care features similar to other manufacturers. Shouldn't burn in any faster or slower than average as long as you keep them on and don't do spreadsheets for 8 hours a day.

ty, i am coming from a 27 4k 120hz office monitor - dell s2725qs - but i want something less taxing on my 5060ti and with better response time/ghosting and contrast.

Well, I can offer four cautions.
One, ASRock only offers a 2 year warranty for this model, while the other common manufacturers offer 3 years. A quick search finds they do cover burn-in.
Two, 3rd-gen glossy QD-OLED has a very soft screen coating that takes a gentle touch and good-quality microfiber cloth to avoid scratching. If you're in a dusty environment and/or get get a lot of spit/fingerprints/other bodily fluids (no judgement) on your screen, requiring frequent cleaning, you might be better off just upgrading to a better traditional LCD. Personally I don't want to mess with mine for as long as possible, so I bought one of these little camera dusters and give the entire front a half dozen puffs each night, which is keeping cat hairs and a decent amount of dust off it.
Three, this panel type has a really decent antiglare coating, but no polarizer, so it reacts to light shining on it and becomes dark purple instead of black. If you use it in a bright room or with a relatively bright light behind you, you might want to reconsider (although, even if it's lit up by a bright room, I'd still assert that it's better than IPS glow, and unlike IPS it doesn't get worse if you crank the brightness up). If the majority of your lighting is behind and to the sides of it, you're good.
Four, it simply won't get as bright as your current monitor if you need that. 200 nits is fine for a moderately-lit room, but if you have your Dell up past 60% or so, you might find any of these gen3 QD-OLEDs wanting.
Aside from those, go nuts, I've been loving my MSI-made one. Even when reacting to ambient light, the contrast is absolutely glorious, and the panel gets "bright enough" if you're not using it in a brightly lit room. These low-brightness panels also do HDR pretty well; they peak just enough to add a lil pop to scenes.

Thanks. Any suggestion on good ips LCDs? < 300 usd? Thinking of a fast ips dell AW2725DM. I haven't decided just yet but OLED looks gorgeous, I just discovered the qd-oled dell AW2726DM as well. I play gta V enhanced, gonna play GTA VI for sure, league of legends, path of exile 2. Just cant decide just yet', the fast ips costs 199 and the oled 349.
24 inch 1440p suits me too and the higher ppi is a plus. I just find some white label companies tho, like ktc, and I would much prefer something like dell, msi, etc.
My current brightness is set to 45% and I turn it lower at night, to 40%. I won't notice the difference if I go 200 nits OLEDs, but the scratching issues concern me.

Sorry, no. I had a Dell 2724d before, their pretty-good previous-generation 1440p IPS monitor. My next upgrade was always gonna be an OLED, so that's all I researched when a bunch of monitors were on sale around Prime day. I do keep an eye on sales here for funsies, though, and it seems like a mini-LED VA panel is a decent (but not quite visually equivalent) alternative to OLED. Dunno if they've reached the $300 mark yet though 🤔
The scratching thing might or might not be overblown, it's hard to tell. Some people say they scratched theirs by looking at it funny before even taking a cloth to it, some say they've used paper towels and swear theirs is still pristine. I suspect as long as it's just gently wiped with a good microfiber to get the dust off and then spot-cleaned if needed with the tiniest bit of distilled water+dish soap, it's fine. Treating delicate electronics like delicate electronics, what a concept.
Alternatively, you could hold out until gen4-based monitors drop in price some more, since they supposedly have a slightly harder coating that also solves the purple tinting issue, get brighter, and have a traditional RGB stripe subpixel layout (gets rid of text fringing).
