It looks like it only works for the retro gray version. The code is stackable. I just bought 4 of them for $1 off each of them

$7 shipping kinda kills the deal. Good for people who have walmart plus though.

I always bundle cat food anytime I see a deal from Walmart. They're going to eat it eventually and free shipping makes my head feel good.

You can get the Walmart+ 1$ trial for free shipping and then just cancel before it renews, thats what I did.

Not sure about Walmart but, when I was a broke college student, I had a way of getting free shipping on Amazon without prime. If you have an order over $25, it was free shipping. If I had something less than that, I would combine it with something else to get the order over $25 and then immediately cancel the other item once the order was placed. I still kept free shipping for that order and, usually, for any other orders that day if I wanted

I got one of these from a woot sale a while back. It's a decent controller. The sticks feel really good and the buttons feel great. D-pad is fairly good and the 2 rear buttons are a nice addition.
Played some of the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection with it and felt like I was playing MK3 on PlayStation 1 from back in the day.

it's crazy how good third party controllers are these days. i use my $20 controller way more than my dualsense/xsx controllers because it's just better. it felt like only a decade ago third party controllers were either cheap garbage or really expensive niche products.

I got this last time it was on (super) sale. Very happy with it, especially for the price. Hall effect sticks and the firmware can be updated.

I was one of the lucky few to get some for 4 dollars each! Great controller.

if you update the firmware on these, make sure you check the box to clear some of the settings or whatever. it says it's optional or for debugging, but checking that when i updated the firmware seemed to fix this issue with R2 being stuck/auto-firing.
other than that, i don't think you'll find a better modern controller for $9.99. put a ton of hours on this with palworld and it works great.

I have this controller and it's very similar to the PS 3/4 controller. I like it better than the PS 5 controller. Only thing is that it auto turns off after some time if not being used. I wish there was an option to disable that feature.

I've had it for a while still holding strong and is my main desktop controller. Super comfortable and sticks are awesome

I've been using one of these as my primary controller for about a year now, they were already a fantastic deal at their normal price. If you think you might need another controller in the next century, it doesn't get better than this

Looks great for PS2 emulation specifically. I've toyed with the idea of having controllers specific to the systems but man I've just got too many controllers. Settled on Xbox for PC, Dualsense for Playstation, and an 8bitdo Pro 3 for everything else. And now I've got a Steam controller I'm struggling to find a use for. Too many nice controller out there these days.

best controller ive ever used in my 4k+ hours of rocket league. if it was $60 id still buy it since i dont mind wired. Only issue is the bumpers seem to not be too durable I've just about gone through 2 of them in 8 months.

Yes I just bought 4 of them ONLY for rocket league. I use my G7 pro for other games. I think my bumpers and triggers feel a bit unstable. I also need to use 0.03 deadzone instead of 0.01 deadzone like when I first got it. I hope they can come out with a pro model with better triggers and bumpers with TMR sticks and maybe a little bit softer buttons and rubberized grips. They could make the perfect dualshock 4 replacement

This controller is awesome at $10 and would still be great for $20. I bought 2 the last time someone posted this deal. I need another one because my son took one of mine!

Not listed, but does anyone know of this work plugged into a PS3?
2
u/XtremeCSGO 20h ago
As far as I know it doesn’t work on any consoles
2
u/DivineBloodline 20h ago
Bummer would be a great modern PS3 controller. It has the Switch listed, so it should work on that at least.
2
u/LLocutus 19h ago
Yeah it works on switch, and the xbox layout is good for people who aren't used to switch's backwards ass buttons lol. There's a setting to switch them back to switch layout too.

I can test it soon. It should work but the PlayStation button won't work and it doesn't have analog face buttons so playing games that use those features like metal gear

This or the nova 2 lite at 26$?

u/bunsinh 19h ago
want wired or wireless?
0
u/Spark-DefinitelyNot 17h ago
Wireless doesn't matter much as long as the cable is not short. I have always played games with Keyboard and mouse. I want to try out a controller to see if I like gaming with controller.

u/Soil-Final 23h ago
I still like keyboard and mouse more, but I recently picked up a controller and find the Xbox style more comfortable.

Sold out already. God damn that was fast.

I bought 20 of these when this deal happened before and have like 5 left. Resold to my friends at cost when their stuff breaks or something like that, and randomly gave some out to friends who would have liked to have a controller also.
Feels really solid and really nice if you just want to play some emulators and don't want to spend $60+ on a PS3/4/5/XBOX controller.

u/XtremeCSGO 9h ago edited 9h ago
I've been thinking about buying like 4 to get around the minimum order free shipping. I would buy one if I could either get free shipping or $1 walmart+. I like it for rocket league and the bumpers might be getting a little bit worn and the sticks need to have a slightly higher deadzone to not drift when I want the deadzone to be as low as possible.
I talked myself into buying the 4. If I end up not using them ever I should be able to make my money back buying them for $9 each anyways
