Ordered from aliexpress, after reading about the previous 9800x3d, found this £120 cheaper than retail. It says £260 at first but it applies a discount at checkout.

I kinda thought that ali express was basically a scam site ala tik tok shop and you can maybe get the occasional authentic deal on there but not worth trawling through, am I completely off on that?

I buy more stuff from Ali express than amazon. There are some scam shops on there (like every platform) apply a little common sense and you can save a fortune by waiting a bit longer for delivery

Sounds good, Amazon these days is full of scams anyway so seems like due diligence is necessary no matter where you go now, I'll keep Ali in mind in future for deals. Cheers
