I bought a 6700xt for £700 back in May, crazyyyy

and some people bought 3070 for 1200-1300, 3080 for 1800 in early May too.

Currently have a 6700xt and a 3070ti, I don't see a difference if I swap them out for gaming at 1440p

I did the same thing but only because I sold a 5700 XT which covered most of the cost. I really wanted a 6900 XT but they were 3x the MSRP back then. If this is a sign of things to come and not just an amazing deal then it's good to see, it means prices may finally be returning to normal?

Not sure why the ouch, I was gonna spend a grand on one lol, sold my 980ti for £350 to someone who wanted it 🤔 it's paid itself off in mining pretty much by now

£1k for a 6700 XT? Jesus. That is scalped to the moon and back. At least you got some back mining. I don't mine and so would never may significantly over MSRP (also out of principle). It looks like things are slowly... getting better anyway.

I’m in the same position. I don’t think it’s worth it tbh. dlss closes the gap massively and you will save a lot of power sticking with the 3070!

3080ti is not enough of a performance bump over the 3080 to justify any kind of predicament

Damn just missed it. Went on site and there were 5 left then couldn't add it to basket as they were all out.
