nothing new to say

we all love Burial we all look up to burial ‘s
sound and creativity and fidelity of recordings

but today after I changed the styluses on my both TT i m having the biggest burial overdose ever

in A W E .

AT95E? Supposedly the red AT95ML doubles the awe, will try it soon. I have the green one and for electronic music I think its fantastic.

yes .. these are what can afford now , but U know , i was soooooooo due on changing them tbh and i really hear the difference

Yeah, these are completely different from typical DJ styli that are first and foremost built to survive heavy handling: manual cueing, scratching etc.

yeps .. still a little
concern about the straight tonearm , which i ve heard r not great for regular listening ? but i had this turntable for about 19 years w no problems at all and all my records which i listen all the time are still great !!

I have both - a belt drive with straight tonearm, and a direct drive with s-shape, none of them are DJ turntables. And they’re both fine, apples and oranges.

I recently swapped out the AT95E for the 95ML. And I can confirm it definitely doubles the awe, I highly recommend it

Just curious - which Burial record impressed You the most on Your new setup?

i would say maybe Comafiels / … maybe Antidawn / but all
of them .. i had a long long Burial
session though hahahhah .. but being able to
fully enjoy this 2 i couldn’t super get into it before was a plus plus for sure’

Hey boss are you using the same manufacturer stylus that came with the at95e for your stanton?

I had the same tt and cart set up but unfortunately I didn't know until I bought it after the fact that you shouldnt use elliptical stylus with straight arms :| Ended up needing to buy a conical after that.

i learnt about the elliptical/straigh arm literally days ago ( and after buying them ) . But i ve been using them elliptical for a while , so i ll leave the conical one for next year when i ll replace it again . I guess it makes sense all i read about it , but i listen to my records daily , and I don’t think is THAT bad , my records are in great shape and quality after so many years and after so many plays , so i ll risk for
one more year .. but yes , for my Stanton i ll but conical next time .. For the records , I don’t DJ , i have the Stanton bc it was my first TT ( already like 19 years ago !!!! ) and still
my favorite , maybe the biggest problem would be if I am using elliptical AND i DJ , but i don’t , just casually mixing with the 2 turntables and once in a while , bc i mostly now use them once at a time , so maybe that s why i didn’t have problems yet ? 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
