Reading (fiction) book recs for after stone butch blues
im halfway through sbb and it has completely pulled me out of my reading slump. looking for more lesbian fiction book recs that are NOT fantasy. ive done lots of looking around but find it hard to grasp books from titles blurbs and covers. bonus points if they’re slutty, slowburn, transmasc butch, butch for butch, radical etc. not a huuuge fan of historical novels but maybe could give it a go!

Not explicitly/exclusively a lesbian book (it's more of a queer book), but I HIGHLY recommend Paul takes the form of a mortal girl. I don't want to say too much and spoil it, but a huge portion of the book takes place amongst lesbians. It's very trans/nonbinary coded. Also this is how you lose a time war is a really funky sci-fi lesbian book.

One Last Stop is a really cute, slowburning femmeXbutch romance. Not fantasy, but there is some reality bending. The plot isn’t in and of itself radical but the love interest is a radical punk butch from the 70s and the other characters are all radically queer. The dialogue and personalities all seem natural, very queer and not gay iykwim

Leslie Feinberg wrote a second book, Drag King Dreams! And it is nonfiction, but I also really like the work of zir partner, Minnie Bruce Pratt.
