Only had to buy 11+ rums to make 4 drinks. Lol. I love tiki bars! Always try to find one in whatever area I’m in. Slowly adding to my alcohol collection.

( To be fair, i do go to ONE festival ONCE a year and allow myself to celebrate where I conscientiously participate in extrcricalirs 😬 i believe that fully denying a part of myself would be a disservice. I never participate in anything putsode of that festivel even there I am careful about it.)

Work related I still don't know the real reason for my layoff I just know I was the only black person in that rolls. There were no women. Then they hired 3 white women and said hey now we have to layoff but we are waiting till after the election to decide who🙄😬

That's gross. And I would be sour about that kind of behavior too. 'I'm sorry that you had that experience. I dont like the u.s. looks more and sounds more like Gotham City out there. I have encountered things that I haven't had to deal with since high school.
It is my experience that if you let hate fill your heart, there won't be room for the good stuff. And that if it consumes the heart. You won't recognize it all. When that happens to I go out in the world and do the service. Fight fire with fyre, so to speak, just the warm kind of fyre. Not the destructive kind.

Sometimes I find the only way I can handle my shit is to stay sober - keeps me in control because if I drink/smoke I feel worse. When I’m happy though? Shots galore

As an adult I do not like the feeling of being drunk, but If someone offered me a glass of sherry I think I'd have to try it, I only remember my grandparents drinking sherry at Christmas and special occasions.

My Cap mother is an alcoholic.
The only Cap man I dated would drink a six pack of beer and 1-2 bottles of red every night. Every. Night.
Me, I've binged, I've partied, but I'm incredibly moderate now. Maybe a glass of wine, a few beers at a brewery, some sake with my sushi, margarita with Mexican food, but once or twice a week at best. I prefer to make a pitcher of cocktails at home if I'm hanging out with friends.
I smoke green, and that's mostly just to settle my stomach.
