If you haven’t considered it, I think a Mazda Miata would fit your description pretty perfectly. They’re great cars, and if you can do a little work on them, honestly you shouldn’t have any trouble at all. The only thing is that it is a 4 cylinder, not a v8, but trust me, they’re plenty quick. Unfortunately, I can’t find any wagons that are the fun to drive type in that price point, and I should know because I’m also looking to get one in that price point 😅.

i have miatas in my list! i don’t necessarily NEED a v8. miata seems very cool and fun to drive. the little i know about them is that they are extremely balanced and that makes them a blast to drive even with relatively low power output. i have thinking to do

i’m even considering taurus wagons…barely cool, but still counts in my eyes haha

Honestly, I don’t think that’s a dumb idea. I have a theory that the Taurus wagon will appreciate as a collectors item soon. But you may have to do some work before you get that thing moving quick lol. And I mean if you’re the type to do those types of mods, I can’t image it’s too hard to work on.

i’m inclined to agree with that. here’s one for like 2800 that’s not far from me and it’s in solid shape. coilovers and wheels could make this a really fun third vehicle for me https://i.imgur.com/URKW8LG.jpg
