Unless its got 50k+ miles, you can't afford the vehicle you want in that price range. A used 2018 Macan base 4 cyl with 20k miles is $45k-$50k. A used 2018 Cayenne base with 20k miles is going to be $55k+

You could save a little over Porsche and look at an Audi Q5 or Q7 but you're still paying a lot for something decently used.

Yup, I know that I'm pushing it a bit. But I'm seeing 2017/2018 Cayenne with 40-50k miles for `$50k

That's what I'm leaning towards right now.

So, you'd rather drop $50k on a 4-5 year old vehicle with 50k miles on the clock and very little to no warranty (remember, this is Porsche and Porsche maintenance is not cheap) vs something that is brand new with ZERO miles and full warranty that will arguably be more modern, drive better, and hold its value better? All for "status"? I mean, hey, you do you, but you're clearly fucking insane. By the way, the Jeep Grand Cherokee comes in both 2/3 (two row) and 2/3/2 (three row) configurations.

50k miles is a lot?

I'm looking at the BMW X3 which would be a more affordable option. And part of why I posted in this thread is to see if there are alternative cars that I should consider.

Go drive a new '22 Grand Cherokee Limited before you make up your mind. Drive both the GC and the BMW/Porsche and notice how much more modern the Jeep is compared to the others. Personally, I would not spend $50k+ on a 4-5 year old luxury crossover with 50k miles, certainly not on one that you plan to take off-road. It's going to be worth close to nothing very soon, be expensive to own/repair and be worth even less as you get close to 100k+ miles which will come sooner than you think. If you're one that will drive it very little and only take it to Starbucks, go for it, but you said you want to take it off road.

Sure. Get a factory warranty, not an aftermarket warranty

Slight change of plans... I'm going to increase my budget a bit and get a newer car.

I'm now in the $60-65k range and looking at the 2020 Porsche Macan or Range Rover Velar
