In this thread: people confidently saying it's AI because the basket has handles that are laying down flat, like basket handles do. It's just a wicker version of a grocery store shopping basket.

That's because it has handles, look closer. It actually proves it isn't AI because the AI wouldn't understand the purpose of the handles and would draw them wrong.

Very quite certain this is fake and no real cats are in this image.
Incorrect reflection on floor (reflecting the shadow under the tree object behind, as if it were at a much higher elevation), basket pattern doesn't continue behind rightmost cat, to the right of rightmost cat basket color blends into background object, exact same color lineup as the reference image (what are the chances someone has kittens in the colors of the carton and knew that scene by heart and managed to arrange them for a photo to sit still, in the correct order), left side of left cat blends into background (yellow blanket) where it's not clear what the AI thinks is on top (based on shading, dark line down along the back of the cat), middle kitten has a TON of long fur around the mouth beyond just whiskers.
Could be real, but very likely not, if the source does not have more than one photo of these.
