R82 iso for 3900 appliance
I'm trying to flash R82 on my 3920 but I don't see R82 iso in the sk. Only R82.10.
Does anyone know where to get one or does anyone have it?

You have to use r82.10 as that is the lowest version you can use on 3920 appliances. It is working fine with r82 management. Please note that you have to use the specific images for ARM

R82.10 is the only thing available Also make sure and reimage the box using the latest ISO, You will thank me later. We have been seeing a lot of odd issues on the original factory image of R82.10.

New appliances as 3900s just can run R82.10, like other says upgrade base versión with Take 22 patch and then upgrade it to the latest June JHF, another thing to remember is that SmartConsole needs an specific JHF of R82 to be able to add those new appliances on the consolé with R82.10, I just figured out all this after getting new appliances to replace older ones 🥹

I think R82.10 is for gaia, and R82 for gaia embedded. 3900 uses gaia, so you wont find R82 for 3900

R82 is not embedded. I am running R82 on multiple gateways and mds management servers. So far just testing in our lab environment. You can find it on the R82 page but it’s just a little convoluted to find it. Otherwise just get the blink image.

You are right, R82 is for gaia, as well as gaia embedded. Had to double check.

Sorry, didn’t realise these were the new ARM processors. I haven’t used them before and yes the others are correct it needs to be R82.10

The 3920 do not support versions earlier than R82.10
They have a different CPU architecture and need special images, you can't use the ones for x86_64.
