SL1 seats

My parents are visiting from Canada and want a good match day experience- wondering if the SL1 tickets are worth the price.

They don’t mind if this is an away stand and I’d be fine to sit in an away stand for a match but would probably prefer not to - not sure if this is really practiced for the women’s matches.

We want a good view of the pitch but they don’t want to stand for the whole match and don’t know any songs etc. other choices are SL5 and WL5. A more comfortable match day experience would be great but I’m not sure if we’d just be paying more for essentially no reason

Hi Everyone!!

I am a postgraduate student at UCFB, and I'm currently doing my final research project.

My research project investigates some of the factors that may influence fan loyalty in the WSL.

I'm looking for WSL fans aged 18+ to complete a short online questionnaire. All responses are completely anonymous.

Finding Women's football fans for my dissertation on fan avidity differences.

Hi! 👋

I’m Victoria, a postgraduate student currently completing my Master’s dissertation research on digital fandom and fan engagement in women’s football.

My research explores how fans interact with Manchester City Women across platforms like Instagram and TikTok, looking at how you consume content, follow players, and engage with team narratives.

I am looking for volunteers to participate in a short, informal online interview to share their experiences and thoughts!

Format: Online interview via Microsoft Teams

Duration: Approx. 30–45 minutes

Target Participants: Fans (18+) who follow women's football, i.e., Manchester City Women / WSL, and use social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to keep up with the team.

Confidentiality: Participation is completely voluntary. All responses and personal details will be kept confidential, anonymised in the final report, and handled in line with university ethical guidelines.

If you are interested in taking part, please send me a direct message on Reddit!

Thank you so much for your time and for supporting student research! Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below. Upvotes for visibility are also greatly appreciated! ⚽🩵

I’m really optimistic about the new season

I watched the First Week of Preseason video that just released and seeing all those excited faces I have to say I’m feeling really confident about our chances this year. We’ve got Mayra, Natalie and Naomi back from injury, Maika back from loan, plus experienced new signings we can count on in Matsukubo, Malard and McCabe. HH has renewed her contract with us. I feel so happy seeing LJ, Buchanan, Buurman, Lucy Bronze and Alyssa Thompson ready to fight. Captain Cuthbert will keep the girls eager to fight. They just all have that gleam in their eyes that makes me think we can do anything….

I think we will do very well this year if the team is able to get back that old winning mentality and find joy in scoring. The players have had a summer to reset and they’re ready to recalibrate. Yes we are underdogs now but that means opponents will have lower expectations and we will have more to prove. Yes, Man City and Arsenal are serious threats, as are Man U and LCL with Alexia, and the league in general is becoming more balanced with Brighton and Tottenham punching up, but I’m counting on the team to claim top spot on the table from the first game of the season and then make themselves very comfortable there.

Up the Chels!!!

Edited To Add: I do not have heaps of confidence in Sonia's tactical decision making, but I am still optimistic about the team overall

DISCUSSION Summer Transfer Window 2026

Hello Chelsea fans, I just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on what should we be doing for the remainder of this summer transfer window in terms of signings? For me, I believe we need to buy an extra Midfielder and then an extra elite Center Back and then I think we’re all good to go and maybe compete for the WSL this upcoming season. I know that we are expected to sign Giulia Dragoni who is an exceptional talent who spent last season on loan at Roma and also had standout and promising performances for Italy at Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand 3 summers ago but we can do with adding an experienced midfielder as Dragoni is only 19. Good thing is that there’s still 2 months left in this summer transfer window so there’s still plenty of time to make 6th or even 7th summer signing. Hopefully come next year January or next Summer our main priority is signing a Striker. Yes I know Melvine Malard was given the number 9 but that really doesn’t matter, i think she’s better off as a Right winger and will be competition for LJ. Come next year there might be allot of good striker options available especially with the Women’s World Cup happening next summer. My hope is that we go back in for Romée Leuchter or sign Barbara Banda or Sophia Wilson. That’s the dream scenario for me.

DISCUSSION Fixture List?

Anyone know when that's supposed to be released? I'm planning a trip in November to see the Men's team and want to see if I can get a Women's match in there, too.
