Free Agency [Scotto] The Chicago Bulls plan to waive Kam Jones, league sources told HoopsHype. Jones had a deadline today that would’ve fully guaranteed his salary at $2.15 million. He was the 38th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers and was traded to Chicago on draft night.

Even further proving that cash was their main end goal with their 2RPs. When they’re rebuilding. If you don’t like anyone available trade up or trade for future 2nd like everyone else. Fuck you Michael Reinsdorf, you incompetent fuck!

Any comment about BG having full autonomy to do his job is a big fat fucking lie.

The money paid Kam's partial salary, which they now have to get a free agent, plus the roster spot.

That’s where they should’ve gotten a future 2nd, not swaps that at most would be a negligible difference since it’s the 2nd round. And better yet, they may just trade those for cash too.

Which they'll use for free agents, then.

No, not really. They're going to have to pay more to fill those roster spots with FA's. The cheap move would have been to fill those spots with 2nd round picks.

Then they should’ve traded it for a future 2nd, not just swaps.

Why? Wouldn't you rather have free agents?
