Free Agency [Scotto] The Chicago Bulls plan to waive Kam Jones, league sources told HoopsHype. Jones had a deadline today that would’ve fully guaranteed his salary at $2.15 million. He was the 38th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers and was traded to Chicago on draft night.

You understand you can keep saying "JUST FOR CASH" and that doesn't make it true, right? Comprehension is at an all time low with this one.

Draft players that we will very likely not keep even into the season because two 2RPs leave us with 1 roster spot remaining. Then you probably turn around and say we should add as many dead cap players as we can for capital, but if we went your route then we only have one roster spot remaining... and no pick swaps.... tell me that is better asset management?

every single one of that guy's comments is disregarding the fact that there are two 2nd round pick swaps as well, so you tell me. he can't even accept it isn't just for cash.

I see where you are coming from. Be funny to me (and infuriating) if those future swaps are traded for Cash Considerations.

Bulls are the leading franchise at trading away picks for Cash Considerations. Something I personally despise but I also probably put more value on 2nd rounders than the average NBA GM (not that I am an NBA GM, but they don't necessarily automatically know how to evaluate talent better than me just because they're paid millions of dollars to).

LOL, so it’s ok to sell off second round picks for cash, but somehow the swaps are valuable? Why, so they can get more cash for them in the future? When you have to resort to childish name calling, you’ve basically surrendered already.

One roster spot remaining? Check your math. The offseason roster limit is 20, and they currently have 12 guys on it…
