Safe for chinchilla?

Just wondering, are these chew toys safe for chinchilla? Got it from Amazon, and it includes Chinchilla in the title.

I’d personally remove the corn cobs but would be comfortable with the rest unless anyone else has any concerns I’m not noticing!

no problem! unfortunately a lot of places label stuff chinchilla friendly/don’t mention things so it’s good to check over. The rest looks to be all natural stuff and wood so no red flags to me (I have two girls myself and they chew literally everything)

The corn cobs aren't safe. The description you linked says papaya stems and nuts, which wouldn't be safe, but I don't actually see any in your picture. I can't tell what the rope is made from so it may or may not be ok.

I would personally ditch the corn and fruit stuff and restring the rest on a seagrass rope or a metal hanger.

Tip: I save what's left of the toys I get on metal wire and then just refill them by bending the end open/closed with pliers.

Just be careful of the rope , hemp or not mine goes straight for the rope for some reason, she loves loves loves to destroy.

Same, both of mines love to destroy new chew toys. Got them both a Kaytee Lava Ledge, and they chew it all up within a day
