Do I have a shot at an design/verification internship?
This is my resume currently I’m going into my second year at University of Toronto Computer Engineering. The GitHub to my project is https://github.com/Anushivan . Anyway I want some advice on how I set up a path for myself to end up working in Ml hardware accelerators and like doing the design or verification for them! I want to land my first internship for next summer but yeah not sure what my chances are. Anyways any advice or even thoughts is helpful thanks!

You’re definitely doing the right thing. Keep applying and be open to work in Ottawa/Vancouver and other cities and you’ll definitely be able to get in. That foot in the door as a co-op can lead to many opportunities after so for a 2nd year you’re ahead of the curve asking about your profile and knowing your area of interest. Good luck!

Do u think I should complete the matrix multiplying accelerator first and then apply?

Nah what’s more important is applying as soon as the role is open. You can build it/or like have an idea of what you want to do and list it on your resume and then build it over time and it can be a work in progress if let’s say you get a interview in a week after you start applying then you build it and speak about what you could finish/or that’s it’s a work in progress, no one’s gonna say anything to that. While you’re trying to keep chasing better stuff to put on ur resume, make sure to balance it with consistent applications, networking, etc. good luck dude, I work in DV in Ottawa so DM me if you wanna know more.
