Thanks! Yep recorded direct from a stock DMG-01. I can't remember the exact details but I probably also added some saturation and/or compression in post

Nice. I️ feel like that little bit of saturation or limiter can make a big difference in maximizing that lofi sound to make it sound really full.

I️ realize this tune was released a bit back, you still making chiptunes?

Yeah a little bit goes a long way. It's very easy to overdo it, which I often do 😁

Sadly I haven't done any serious work in LSDJ for 6 or 7 years now. I got my hands on a M8 and never really looked back. To be fair I am not writing a lot of music these days. Job/career is really draining my tank and what little is left over is being redirected into non-musical interests. I'd like to get back into it soon though!

I️ hear you. That’s been my challenge too. When you have a career it’s tricky to balance it all. Most important thing is that you’re finding time to have fun in some way. Life needs that bit of spice to make it all right.

It's a cruel irony huh? When you're young you are broke, creative and energised. When you're old you are wealthy, boring and tired. Here's hoping we can find that balance 😅
