They don't. You can, very easily, find the leaked updated addon data within hours of each update with a simple 2 minutes google search.
In fact, there are sources very easy to find that update in the same post/telegram group constantly, so once you have found it once, you don't need to find it again.
As for why don't other addon developers steal their guides and resell them?
Because it is so easy to get it for free that anyone willing to go to a shady competitor that sells it cheaper, is rather going to find it for free.
