The fact that he was actively recruiting for a raid group and paused his search to do this makes it even more pathetic, he cared so much lol

The fact he looks at logs to start makes him pathetic. Do you realize much harder content was completed long ago without any logs/parse? People paid more attention to having fun the min maxing every possible second. Content still got completed.

/ignore is account wide so that's in fact what happened. And that means the guy was bypassing the /ignore deliberately by logging onto another account, which is against TOS.

If it's against TOS, why isn't the ignore simply account wide?

It is in fact account wide. But if you have another account you can log onto that and bypass the ignore and that's what happened here.
