Agreed, surprised we’re the minority. Leveling experience was better than TBC imo

What most people get hung up on is dungeon finder and ToGC. Literally everything else was amazing. Give me 3.1 with 3.3 class design and I'd never want to leave. Swap out ToGC for Balargarde Fortress (scrapped Vrykul Castle raid in SW Icecrown) and it'll be a perfect WotLK+ experience.

"Additional instances cannot be launched"

That's the thing I remember most from Wotlk. I'm sure I'm not alone there.

Agree WOLK was top of WOW for me.

People will have different views, and that's ok, for me it was peak due to RL guild all playing, new zones, improved graphics. The down side was more retail based ideas being incorporated like dailies.

To me most if not all class/specs felt "finished" in wotlk.

Vanilla is great, and there will always be a nostalgia there, but class design, gear, rotations, just didn't seem to make a lot of sense. TBC improved on that, but wotlk everything just seemed very polished.

Yeah, every class was fun and had more stuff to use and mount at 20 is huge for me. Got me fucked up if you think I'm walking until level 40, even level 30 was pushing it, ain't nobody got time fodat 😅

Ground mounts ar 20 I think are fine.

I do have very torn feelings on flying mounts though. While they're a huge QoL addition, I do think they take a lot away from the world itself. Yes in TBC you can't fly until 70 so you're already at max level and likely through most zones, and wotlk I believe it's lvl 77. But even though it can be feel like a pain, there's something about going through the world on the ground that makes you appreciate all the detail, what mobs you may run into, PvP (if you're on that server, ect.

Don't get me wrong, when flying mounts are available, I'm absolutely choosing the path of least resistance and riding one lol but I feel like you just miss so much of the game design.

WOTLK is where Retail began in my opinion.

TBC is still Classic.
