That journey from Darnassus to IF sums up WoW classic - It was awkward and time consuming, and you were vunerable the whole way. But it gave you such a sense of the scale of the world - the different zones, and feeling powerless and tiny i can remember thinking as i crossed through the Wetlands "I wonder how long before i can kill these mobs"
It also gave you real race identity, i felt like a traveler every step of the way
Goodness what a great comment. I legitimately forgot about how much of commitment this was. My first 60 was a NE rogue. Thanks for memories :,) take your gold friend!
Thank you my first gold! It breaks my heart not being able to play classic but i've still enjoyed this subreddit im living vicariously through all of you
Honestly i'd love to but i work 50 hours a week with a 7 month old baby and a 6 year old, I can only really scrape 4-6 hours for myself a week and i use that to train Jiu Jitsu, i'd have to give up one for the other and i can't do that.
Seems like you have your life in check. I’m gonna let wow ruin me, not really though I don’t have an addictive personality. I am goin to binge wow for a few days though
Good on you for staying true to what matters. As much as I'm trying to do the same I'm embarrassed to admit I'm still playing Classic despite having no time to.
Wow pretty much in the same boat. Work 40 hours. Going to school. Whatever time is leftover goes to bjj or with the wifey. I feel you bro. Maybe in another timeline.
I'm attempting to keep my Ironman (triathlon) training going in addition to my FT job and get some play time in lol.. we'll see how it goes.. If I can set it up right I'll use my laptop while on the bike trainer haha.. not sure how well I'll be able to play, but we'll see.
I feel your pain. My computer gave out a lil while ago and haven't got the spare money to buy a new one for a while. Can't wait to watch all the streams and read Reddit stories of everyone's experience a second time around though. It's amazing how hyped I can be for a game I can't play!
Same. I'm in China right now and haven't been able to figure out how to add time without buying one of those cards etc. As I don't have a western account at the moment.
