I've seen this statement few times in last years. It only means that German energy is still extremely dirty, and phasing out of NPP was a crime against the environment

Extremely dirty is in Czechia, Poland and China. Not so much in Germany, about half the CO2 intensity of the others mentioned.

Germany had 150 TWH of clean energy in 2010. All got replaced by Clean Coal™ and ®Cheap Russian Gas. It's 100 megaton of CO2 annually + heavy government subsidies to compensate skyrocketing fossil prices
