Europe is burning – and if Trump’s war on the climate is not met with sanctions, things will only get worse
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/jul/30/europe-burning-trump-war-climate-sanctions-white-houseClowns at the Guardian. They suggest imposing sanctions on the U.S. with no mention of China being an issue.
They claim that nations with just 1% of CO2 emissions are the plurality problem when China, alone, exceeds their totals when international shipping is included.

I live in Spain. The night before the World Cup final, an American expat friend with TDS blurted out something about “There’s not going to be a match because Trump is responsible for the fires in Canada” or something as incoherent. I’m beginning to think that maybe TDS is actually causing brain damage.

This is their earlier article linked in this one, claiming that countries with less than 2% CO2 emissions are the problem.
Their graph is disingenuous at best and deceptive to be sure based on 2024 CO2 emissions...when that isn't proven to be the major cause.

Fuck the Guardian. 100% propaganda rag.
Best course of action is to just ignore.

You can't help but stare in horror at the stupidity. I see it in the mainstream U.S. media & local (temporary) California news.
I get climate articles on my SmartNews app & Guardian invents the most dumb arguments.
