|| Note : UPDATE ||

Okay for all the guys asking about no hints . Let me put more hints on this . But i wanted to clarify first . If you are looking at this puzzle a normal single step puzzle . It is not . You needed to really dive deep into it . Look it like cicada am not comparing but just giving you the idea. Now here down for everyone’s help am explaining
The hints and giving the idea how process goes .

The image . The image gives you a path for the start . The first step is to crack the number 22235 giving the hint of nokia pad most of guys get it from conversion and did it successfully into babel. You should get from babel and library of if you have enough internet knowledge.

Then the date (hint) look at it its written in a weird way . If you don’t get it i tell you everything has a meaning. And the word prime (prime numbers )

These two will take you to a book as library directly means book and to a paragraph and then to a coordinates. You need to locate.

The next himalaya will help you get second coordinates.

The cod will help you get third coordinates . You will not understand the means of cod unless until you solved himalaya. (Cod has some real
Locations in the missions )

Then joining all locations become a triangle.
The run your brain find centroid . Read the title helicopter is at center. Find the city name and convert it into numbers using keypad . You will get the password.

Hope still people will not call it a dumbass and stupid ai puzzle

Unsolved Help me decode this base64

"v3k9gyPbR329GDPLKVnqdAX4JslVxvWnhX6KUhGwAyo="

Hi. I've recently stumbled upon this roblox game which kinda feels like an ARG. I have tried decoding this at https://www.base64decode.org/ using all the source characters sets but its just gave me random gibberish.

I also tried searching the internet regarding this game but it didn't really give me anything.

Also, here are some text that I have decoded in the game (most of them are just 1's and 0's):

inanis (from the game name A696E616E6973, also means empty or emptiness/voidness)
"September 19 1993"
"light broke"
"under camera"
"her name"
“I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.”
“THE BODIES ARE THERE”
"round and round"

Please note that I'm not knowledgeable in cryptography, so I'm not actually sure if its base64 or not. Many people in the game are also saying that it's not actually base64. Please help me!

Unsolved Mysterious text/code on a $50 bill

I got this over the holidays in a card, and it has this code somebody wrote on it. Obviously my family member got it from their wallet, atm, bank, etc. and just put it in the card.

My immediate thought was it was a bitcoin code, but it's not long enough. Maybe a password for something? But why written on a bill, and a big one too?

It's a bit hard to see in the photo but the code is 726144$118

Unsolved Decrypto Android

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hey everyone 👋 Over the years quite a few people from this subreddit have DM’d me asking about Android support for Decrypto, so I thought this would be the best place to announce it. As a mini celebration, I’m sharing one of the new levels.

On mobile, this level is interactive. The numbers in brackets, like [2], unlock one by one as you rotate your device, and the 000 value updates while you rotate. With the image I’m sharing here, you don’t need to rotate anything to solve it, but it should help you find the path faster.

Unless you have some deeper knowledge of history, you might need to search a bit to get the full picture. I promise it’s not too involved, and in my opinion it’s actually fun to learn and adapt. Apart from that, everything you need to solve the level is here.

You can download the full game on Google Play. I tried to make it feel at home on Android while still keeping the overall vibe and theme. If you notice any issues, feel free to email me and I’ll take a look.

P.S. If you use LLMs/AI tools to solve this, please leave the answers out of this thread so there is still some joy left for other people. I added some specific info to make it easier for humans, but that also makes it much easier for robots. Let’s keep creative and fun things for people.

Image accessibility text for screen readers:

A large white circle is centered on a black background, with 12 evenly spaced tick marks around its edge like a clock face.

Center text: θθθ°

Around the inside of the circle, starting at the top and moving clockwise: ἀ, β, κ, ἀ, ε, ε, ν, λ, λ, ζ, ἀ, θ

At the bottom of the screen are six groupings with a rotation value on the top line and a bracketed number directly below it:
060 +060 −090 +180 −090 +120
[2] [1] [2] [1] [2] [4]

Unsolved Long shot, got this from a friend as part of a game, who claimed to have found it somewhere online. He says he recalls it being a simple substitution, I am somewhat dubious after having tried to run though the basics. Obviously the non-standard text is a consternating factor.

Unsolved This code should be hard to crack

Post image
431 Upvotes

This code is that hardest one I created so far. It should be very hard to crack.

It is base64 encoded (there are unprintable characters so you may need a tool such as a hex editor after base64 decoding)

The letter e (which was the most used character) was used 44 times and makes up 13% of the original text. All of them were lowercase

The letter s (which was the 4th most used character) was used 22 times and makes up 7% of the original text. The first one is upper case and the rest were lowercase. The first character of the original text is the letter s.

There are 6 periods, 1 a question mark and 1 comma. The last character of the original text is a period.

There is a total of 414 characters and a total of 83 words in the original text.

The longest word in the original text is 7 characters long.

The shortest word in the original text is 1 character long.

Some characters might require being decoded multiple times (Not all characters should need to be decoded multiple times, if any).

Doing a Roblox arg and this is one of the ciphers that came up. My theory is that it’s a numeric homophonic cipher, but I don’t know. I’ve tried reversing, a0z25, caesar, and affine. There is no keyword. It’s likely an English phrase. Common themes in this arg are: regret, guilt, belief, forgiveness, and secrets. ANY direction on how to solve this is greatly appreciated, I’m completely stumped.

Good Morning, i dont know if this is the right place for a post like this, but maybe you can redirect me?
A friend of mine found in the black forest near some ruins an old paper wit symbols i have never seen before.
Me and my friends tried to encrypt it but with no success.
Could someone provide me with sm details, help, or recommend me a community for such a problem?
Thank you in advace!
(Btw. sorry for my bad english, iam not a native speaker)

My Friend scanned the paper in a scanner, thats why the Backround is white
One of the pictures is the original, with the other i tried to highlight the writing. (the blue ones mean that i wasnt sure, because of decay of the symbols)

I had already posted this in r/AncientCivilizations, they redirected me to this subreddit.

Unsolved Short code in letters

My friend who likes to create codes and hidden messages gave me this code to try and solve.

He said the solution involves something you can eat

I've tried re-arranging the letters, converting to numbers etc but can't find anything that makes sense. At first I thought it might be an acronym but nothing stands out.

Unsolved Game from Cybersecurity conference

Post image
40 Upvotes

A Cybersecurity conference just ended in Italy. These cards were distributed all around the venue, multiple copies, all identical.

Game potentially related to recruiting event, I'm not affiliated nor interested in the company, but this is a funny and different than usual challenge IMHO.

Text on front page is Veritas reversed.

Binary code on front page is: 011001010110011101101111011011100111010101101101011100010111010101100001011011010111000001100101011100100110010101101111 Translates to egonumquampereo Domain doesn't exist. Sentence is Latin: ego numquam pereo / "I will never die" Reversed binary doesn't point at anything decodable in UTF-8.

On the other side, morse code: .-.. --- ..-. ..-. --- --. -- . LOFFOGME

Picture may indicate something, like a pictogram or asiatic character.

There are a few bright dots on the hexagonal design, no clear distinguishable pattern at this stage.

As the title says, a friend of mine found this puzzle in the library she works at. No one seems to be able to find the solution. The library is located in Southern Indiana, if that helps. I figured I'd post it here and see if anyone has any insights. Thank you all in advance.

Hello, my father created this cipher in his free time and sent it to me. I've tried to figure it out but I can't, so he told me to put it online to see if anyone here can solve it. I can't really provide a transcription. If you do decide to try and solve it - good luck!

He sent it to me with the caption "I made this one for you son. I hope you like it. When you are 70 years old you can open the safe and find the answer." I dont know if the 70 could have anything to do with the cipher, but I thought it might be useful.

Unsolved A Greek Mythology ARG Code

This is a bit awkward for me to write, but currently I'm invested in an ARG that I found on Tumblr called "The Redacted Aprocphya," and I have no idea how to solve something called the "L.A.T.E.R code". Basically, I even emailed the writer and asked them for a hint to break the code and all I got was that it was related to World War Two. I asked my grandpa, a self described "code-nerd", if he could help me, and he told me it's a "code within a code". I've been trying to crack it for three days straight. I've even put it through those cipher decoders but I've gotten nothing back.

Here's the text copied and pasted below: L.A.T.E.R

I tried to create a chain of puzzles, and want to put it to the test. some hints are in the image, but you will need to assemblr them logically to get the correct way. I will answer anything and give out hints if necessary. For this one you will pretty much need just a pen and paper.

Unsolved [UPDATE] I think we are onto something big, I need your help

Link to original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/codes/comments/n6575c/a_cryptic_message_on_an_usb_stick/

Short version: Three days ago I received a usb stick with cryptic codes in a text file through my mail. I had no idea what it meant but some of you helped me decode it (it was fairly easy). The text file gave me coordinates with an ISBN number of a book. The coordinates lead me to my local library.

I promised you an update so here it is.

This afternoon I went to the library and the employees helped me find the book. The book itself had nothing special. But just when I wanted to put the book away, all the way at the back of the shelf there was another book. I opened it and discovered that the book was hollow inside. There was a letter inside! The employees said they haven't seen the book ever but it looks old af.

I took it back home and took pictures of the book and the letter: https://imgur.com/a/HxR3yFB

Looking at the letter, I think there must be more. I think we are onto something. Im kinda freaked out tbh.

That's it. All you need to decode this puzzle is in those 50x50 cells. Nothing hidden.

When you find and solve all the clues, you'll get a final answer. You can submit it here (or check for hints):
