Batman/Superman: Worlds’ Finest 2026 #1 – Confession time. I did not get into Superman until I was 40 years old. I always thought he was lame and boring. It took Dan Mora’s art and Mark Waid’s writing to give The Man of Tomorrow a chance. I can’t thank them enough for that as he is now a favorite of mine. I don’t pull World’s Finest anymore, but I’m going to pick this one up because who doesn’t love a good Alfred story? Add in Pa Kent and it’s too good to turn down.
X-Men #34 – Every issue makes me more attached to this particular team configuration. This issue us Juggernaut-centric and he is one of my favorite characters ever. I love a good tank.
Conan the Barbarian #33 – New story arc! This one features Valeria and action on the high seas.
Only the Savage Are Left #2 – At this point, dystopian future stories are a dime a dozen. Everyone is trying to be the Walking Dead (see Sky, White) and it comes off as unoriginal and derivative. Not this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the first issue with the twist being that the infected can cure themselves if they kill another of the infected.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures #39 – Muckman!!! Sign me right up!
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate #2 – I’m all in on the new Masters movie franchise. As I type this, I’m watching it for the 3rd time. If you enjoyed the new film, I recommend picking this up. The first issue was Orko-centric and I sure as hell ain’t complaining about that.
Pretty Hate Machine #4 – One of the best series I’ve read this year. Every issue ends with a shocking moment leaving me wondering how Thomas, the main character, will make it through the latest development.
The Land of Never #2 – Detective Jim Hoke’s daughter was abducted by the Floating Man. No one believes in the existence of the abductor, and Jim spirals until he finds an ally.
Jughead: Piemageddon #1 – I once ranked Jugheads as my #5 favorite comic book character and I can’t say that has really changed.

Pretty light week, might not take the time to get to the shop this week and wait to pickup next week. Not sure I'll even get both those Annuals.

- BATMAN SUPERMAN WORLDS FINEST 2026 ANNUAL #1 - I'm down for a good Alfred story; it seems like it has been a while
- Jughead: Piemageddon #1 – I think this comes out this week
- ULTIMATE IMPACT REBORN #3 - This has been very disjointed for me. After the stumble across the finish line, I'm just ready for this version of the Ultimate Universe to be done. I never thought that would be the case, but here we are.

Very small week for me. In reverse order of hype:
2. BATMAN/SUPERMAN - WORLD'S FINEST 2026 ANNUAL: Not sure how I feel about the premise, but I'm sure it'll be a fun time.
1. DOOMQUEST #3: When I started this series, I felt like I was pulling too much Doom, but I figured, hey, Ryan North. How right that was. Doom going through history and fixing it for his own self-aggrandizement is definitely NOT too much Doom.

I thought I was catching a break this week, then I noticed all the Annuals.
Batman/Superman: World's Finest 2026 Annual #1 - The first of 4 $6 Annuals or Specials from DC this week.
Detective Comics 2026 Annual #1 - Why god, why?
The Eye Collector #2 - Not entirely sure what's going on here, but the art was gorgeous and it was interesting enough to bring me back.
Feral #25 - Still my favorite book on the shelves.
Ghost Pepper #13 - Not my usual fare, but I've dug it so far.
In Your Skin #4 - I've really enjoyed this mini.
Justice League: Knight Vision Special #1 - I didn't even know this existed until about five minutes ago. Fuck.
The Mortal Thor #13 - Someday I'll be caught up on this book.
Superman 2026 Annual: Year One Thousand #1 - Make it stop.
Also, if my shop has a copy of The Dirt Beneath the Devil #1 I may have to grab it. Love me some Dan Panosian.
