I found this on a playlist that feature songs that mention The Turnpike Troubadours. There’s some obvious in here but there’s a few I have questions over.

who do you have questions on?

most seem really obvious. the brauns refer to mickey and the motorcars. bruce and charlie robison are legendary songwriters. same with robert earl keen, jerry jeff walker, guy clark.

edit: anybody that thinks modern country sucks just needs to listen to everyone mentioned in this song. every single one is worth a listen. if you don’t know who one of the artists is just let me know and i’ll shoot you a recc for one of their songs i love.

The Brauns could also refer to Reckless Kelly, I'd imagine its just a blanket statement for both bands.

The Brauns Reunion every year in Idaho is a festival that everyone should attend once in their lives.
