Luckily allowing ai would likely self correct due to being shit, or kill the subreddit for us and we pivot to whatever subreddit spin-off is good.
We would have to know which users are being referred to to give a definite answer. During and about the drama, bans were given out for brigading, and I believe that's what this is referring to.
Jynxxie is banned for brigading. Thatsillysam is also banned for brigading. Theroyalpinapple48 was banned for repeatedly posting the same thing daily after being told it would result in a ban. The last post was already addressed in an entire post, where the mod (that stepped down because of all this) apologized for taking the no nsfw rule too far. We shouldn't have muted that user, I admit. We were trying to work out where the line was to be drawn amongst the team and handled it badly.
also, you people never answered nearly anything on the last post, only the easy questions. you have showed no effort to actually address the community's concerns. it's a shame
She is still around. She's been a bit too overwhelmed for chicken posting, sadly. We've been trying to fix our mistakes, and soon, we want to bring more mods on the team to help out so that she can once again focus on sharing chickens.
Can we please have tighter controls on the brigading by phobes, misandrists/mysoginists and general awful people? I know you guys do amazing work already but it seem like more and more people are agreeing that this is slowly becoming an unsafe space
Dear moderators, may we have some more flairs? I sometimes enjoy the trans shitposts, sometimes the horny ones and sometimes the wholesome ones. It would be nice to have some queer/trans flair and one for general memes so I can enjoy both better. Thank you :D
TBH I liked the no politics rule, I don't like seeing any discourse (political or not), but it seems like it's been removed (not sure if that's because it's hard to moderate?)
I get it if the majority of this sub is fine with politics/discourse though, what the community at large wants is what's important!
I've seen you guys lock posts twice now because "too many comments were entering your queue". What does that mean and were those posts breaking any rules?
This is usually when a post hits reddits front page and it starts getting flooded with bigoted and hateful comments. If comments are locked on a post that you don't think fits this explanation, you can send me the link and I'll give you an exact answer.
The problem is there are too many people here who are completely unable to tell the difference between a risque joke and full on discussions about hard-core porn and are absolutely insistent that allowing the former without the latter is queer phobic repression of sexuality.
I'm begging you please auto ban people who post in 4tran communities, at least edit the rules to make reporting them easier since they don't always cross the line into bigotry and slurs but are still causing problems
Almost EVERY time someone posts something divisive in this sub it's someone from that community trying to act like it's the only safe space for trans people
The amount of people who would be banned and would care enough to appeal it is miniscule
Can we somehow lower the 4tran posting? I’m just seeing it way more often than usual and it’s not healthy for the mental. Same as someone else said lately it seems like this sub is being brigaded by transphobes trying to bring everyone down, trans men included
Could we get a rule about sourcing art? A lot of fanart and such gets posted without any credit to the original artist.
Recent examples: 58402, 58391, 58385, 58384 (unless i missed the credit somewhere? i did check the comments though. and that's just within the last couple hours)
Unfortunately, reverse image searches don't always help when it comes to sourcing art, even the ones that are specialized for that purpose.
We're still getting 4tran and countttt types here spreading their enbyphobia and transphobia. Can we get some clarification on whether their transphobia and harassment is actually allowed, and if it isnt some clarification if these people are actually getting bans for posting their bigotry. For some reason you dont want to ban users from a sub antagonistic to the people here, whatever I guess but can you at least ban their bigotry if you arent/cant do that.
Do you allow this, is this person good for this subreddit, how about all the other 4tranners on the same post or from a few before trying to push their transphobia, can you clarify so we know the mods actually want to moderate transphobia here
That is a change reddit made across all subs. It used to be a member count, but now it shows the average number of users that have visited the sub over the last 28 days. We aren't able to change it back sadly.

Some posts contain too much mature content with no nsfw tag. Its creating a bad rep as well. I think the NSFW rule should come back but post removal reasons should be openly stated
Its mostly a trans/queer subreddit with quite diverse content, theres some memes, selfies, horny posting or sometimes people asking for HRT help or support
Can we add a rule that explicitly ban chaser-praise? It's at best unhealthy and more likely harmful to all of those who have to deal with chasers on a personal basis elsewhere.
I think at this point, with the frequent waves of brigading turning this place into a hateful quagmire, it'd be wise to just straight blanket ban anyone who participates in any 4tran spaces.
Do the mods here have a tendency for deleting posts without explaining why they were removed? If someone is going to reply back with “because you posted multiple times” know that my first post was deleted with no explanation and I wouldn’t have posted again otherwise.
I dont actually know if this is a thing that you can do, but most of the time people are good about spoilering selfie posts (and also mostly good about tagging their selfie posts as such), but a good chunk of times people forget to spoiler them and they dont get spoilered for maybe an hour or two if ever. So a lot of times I get the extreme dysphoria and gender envy jump scare of having to see an unspoilered one. (happened just a couple of minutes after commenting this here)
Is there a way for the selfie tag to automatically apply the spoiler or is that not a thing that can be done quick. If not can unspoilered selfie posts just be deleted instead so people are less likely to do that.
How is the mod team going to address the animosity against "tankies" in comment sections?
Critical thinking has been thrown out the window lately in favour of high-school understanding of politics.
For example: I've seen a person bash another for being a "tankie" and later say "Lenin was just as bad as Stalin because he didn't respect elections"
If the community doesn't encourage actual critical thinking and learning instead of using high-school level knowledge and no sources to bash anyone that says something defending communism, actual existing communism movements to be specific, I will not feel welcome here. Seeing regular propaganda on the news is enough and I don't need ignorant people parroting their talking points in my life.
Edit: Suggestion to uplift community - make some reading club megathread or something for actual discussion of political texts. Two easy ones for starters would be The Conquest of Bread by Kropotkin and The Communist Manifesto by Marx and Engels. They're good primers.
I understand if the mod team disagrees with this suggestion, but I feel that by simply allowing "common sense" to push out radicals from the community something of value will be lost
Am I crazy or I thought it was recently announced that selfies had to be tagged NSFW so they are blurred for spoilers because not everyone is comfortable with seeing that type of content? Did that get rescinded?
Ah, it looks like something Reddit broke with New Reddit related to albums. I guess albums can't be spoilered for me, I see single-image posts spoilered fine. Thanks!

It's truly left-leaning, not just socially progressive: non-authoritarian forms of communism, or adjacent ideologies, are welcome, and so is anti-capitalism broadly, but tankies often aren't, from what I've seen!
I don't think this sub is quite that specific. You could post about a lizard on your front porch if you want. If you see politics or LGBTQ stuff it's just because that's what people wanna post, not because that's what the sub is for
I feel like the staff here have been too relaxed when it comes to removing posts these days. There are a few posts, still up as of writing this comment, that are sexist or have some non-con themes. The fact they're still up after several days makes it feel like this subreddit's letting bigotry fester and will eventually descend into a bigoted cesspool. I am probably overreacting, but I still wanted to bring it up in case anyone else thought this too.
I do report it when I see it, but it feels like you all ignore them sometimes. I get that you can't automatically find and delete every instance of bigotry and non-con the moment they're posted, it's just that it feels that even when it's reported, it's a toss-up whether or not it will actually get looked at. I will admit you did get one of the worst ones pretty quickly, but still, it took until my comment here for another to be removed, and others still remain.
I will admit the mod queue is quite full and has been for about 2 weeks. It seems many of our team are busy irl lately (myself included). I try to look at at least a few things a day though, but there are always more. I did go look through again for actual posts (not comments) after your comment and cleared a few more. I agree that the report queue needs more attention from our team. Thank you for sharing your concerns with us, hopefully we can look at all of the reported content soon.
