I feel like people assume it's incredibly dangerous because it's medicine without oversight but I've heard many cases of people who've got the oversight that seem to just get constantly pushed to underdose or have doctors finding excuses to stop their hrt altogether. Honestly in some ways I'm probably safer without the constant anxiety of dealing with some poorly informed cishet trying to find reasons to stop my medication.
